********* The Official GTA V (5) thread! *********

Must be so frustrating for rockstar, the game they've spent 5 years working on and the first way people see gameplay (apart from the bits we saw in the official video) is recorded off screen on a phone and is uploaded to vine and instagram which they can do nothing about.
 
I've seen two videos on Instagram of a banshee crashing and the damage is actually phenomenal. When I saw the sabre crash into the flat brick wall I was concerned, also when I saw the white Audi r8 type vehicle crash into the police car I was even more concerned over the damage physics however when seeing the two clips containing the exploding banshee I was over the moon and my mind was at ease :)
 
I'd be very surprised if the car damage system was bad, Rockstar seem to have been meticulous with detail, and that is by far one of the most important aspects of the game.

So it's more realistic, in a sense? sounds good to me.

Can't wait to play and see myself :p

Yeah I was gonna say something similar, I mean cars are one of the most important aspects to the game, and no way they would leave it feeling rubbish :D

Yeah the banshee crash looked amazing and the explosion :eek:

I couldn't help it, I watched some leaked stuff...

damage looks fine to me! dunno what people are upset at hmm.

question to those that have seen the leaks, anyone who thought the map was small and the scale of it was tiny, still think the same? :p
 
My Tesco order says "Partially Ready to Dispatch" .......... I have no idea what this means haha!

Tesco (In my experience anyway) are notoriously bad for keeping you updated though, I once got my "Your order has been dispatched" email, 3 days after I recieved the product (D3). Interestingly, I got that game on the saturday before release.....fingers crossed!

lucky sod. make sure you post plenty of spoilers, and be ultra disappointed at how small the map is hahaha

and most of all enjoy the extra day of epic gaming.

I am in fact winding you up.... yes I work in a shop and yes we are getting it tomorrow... I wont be playing it though as I don't like the GTA games at all.... I guess we might slap one on and have a go though :D
 
Is there anything comparing the two versions yet ? I have both ordered and need to cancel one but have no idea still which to cancel. At this rate I will just end up with a copy for each console.
