I think that one's just down to personal preference, as I know there's not a huge amount on the WiiU that appeals to me (beyond ZombiU).

iv said it before just after the pre e3 show but ms really dont seem to have a clue what they are actually aiming for, as for major nelson he's a tool. he was moaning the other day about how the xbone name isnt nice. dawww poor ms.

I agree 100% on this.

I got my PS3 originally for Metal Gear Solid alone, there have been a few other titles like NNK/GoW etc that I would have got it for.

I'm not getting any launch titles for my PS4 I'm getting them all on XBone but if a game comes out for the PS4 I want then I'll get it for that.

Same here, have all current consoles (even my woefully unused Wii U) and will pick up the XB1 and PS4 at launch if budget allows since I know I'll end up buying both at some point anyway.

The bickering about specs just bores me, I don't buy a console (or PC) to run 3DMark on it, I just want great games and some of the best games this gen didn't touch the sides of the hardware limits.

Yea' same, imo if you care that much about specs you'd be a PC gamer :D
 
I'll stay away from the xbox1 like I did the 360 due to not been able to use my g27 on it.:mad:
Hopefully if I repeat it in every thread it will change :o:p

Agreed. All this speculative talk from members as if they KNOW how the systems will behave lol.

I thought long and hard about what I plan to get. The PS4 is a must for me. The launch line-up is far from great (I dont give a **** about all of these games from independent devs). I'm expecting the big games to come out in the first half of 2014.

I've been a PS gamer since the PS1 days and I dont plan to drift away from that brand any time soon. Having said that I love games. MS have shown a couple of great games (Killer Instinct and Titan Fall) that need to be played. It would be a great shame if I passed on getting the XBONE.

For that reason I plan to get both (PS4 will be my main console). Probably towards the end of the launch period as there dont appear to be enough great looking games to warrant spending £900+.
 
Indeed, X1 suits me for launch as for me it has the better games for the first 6 months or so, I'll almost certainly pick up a PS4 as well in a couple of years after price drops. Even Sonys Mark Cerny thinks it will take 3-4 years for devs to start making use of the customized stuff in PS4. By the time it makes a difference the consoles will be half the price and I can pick a PS4 up by selling some X1 games. :)

Xbox One launch window line up is far superior in my opinion, but i'll get a PS4 probably this time next year.

Have 360, PS3 and Wii U and really only the 360 gets used, despite me downloading numerous games on PS+.

It must be the pad :-)

Persevered with the DS3 for The Last of Us, but cant seem to get used to it when playing MGS4 :-(
 
For everyone getting a launch day console, what are you doing with your existing console - trading/selling/keeping?
 
Keeping my current consoles. Still have all my previous consoles, right back to the Nes, and if I had the space would have them all set up
 
PS4 for me, if i didnt have a vita it may not of been that way but the crossplay feature is a very big thing for me. my vita is getting a lot of love at the moment and its going to continue for a long time yet it seems.

will no doubt pick up an Xbox One when they come down in price or if they release a couple of must play exclusives but it wont be this or next year
 
Got a question: I'm planning on giving my PS3 and Xbox 360 to my daughter to go with her new TV for Christmas. If I leave my XBL/PSN accounts on there will it affect me logging in on my PS4/Xbone, basically can you run your accounts on last gen/next gen or am I better off creating her a new account? Hope that makes sense! :D
