Lol. If you don't want to play GTA on console then thats fine but why judge other people for wanting to play it now rather than wait a year for slightly better graphics?
Well millions of others didn't have those issues with GTA IV
that's called denial.
No it isn't, if the issue was widespread the game wouldn't have done as well as it did. I've played 4 on both a 360 and PS3 and both played the game fine, the game had far more performance issues for people on PC.
so GTa4 for u never had any framerate drops, i.e <20???
Not on the consoles no, I'd notice drops under 20 easily.
solid
get a police chase going and start shooting blowing stuff up etc and then come back.
Done it many a time, no issues here, like I said I'd notice it right away, I'm very sensitive to frame rate drops.
I never quite 'got' the hate for the port to PC, I thought GTA IV was ~ok on PC and on my current spec it runs really well.
I hope that if they port GTA V across it's done well though and is open to modification.
Don't do the straw man act. Controlling a FPS or "3rdPS" with a gamepad is not fun at all.

Strange millions seem to have fun using a gamepad. Strawman pull the other one you can't even seem to type coherently. Are you 12?
Comparison of GTAIV on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC... PC version is Q6600 Core 2 Quad, 4GB of RAM, nVidia GTX295 running Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Consoles are running at 720p, PC at 1080p. Green line = 360, blue line = PS3, red line = PC. Green vertical lines = screen tear on 360
