I'm going to be brutally honest, I'm very pleased the PS3 version is the better of the two, despite having both consoles it's annoyed me that the PS3 was, for so many years, treated as second-rate when it came to multi-platform games. Hopefully Rockstar can fix the texture streaming issues on the 360 though because there's no reason for it to be any worse.
 
Didn't preorder so I popped to asda this morning and picked it up.

So far it's much better then gta iv was, it's fun to drive and to play for a start... Haven't done much but run around so far trying to reveal more of the map... Going to jump in a plane again and just go on tour I think.

Graphics are very good but it's the sheer scale of it that I'm finding great at the moment, flying over at night just shows how much is going great on.

get the daughter down for a nap and I'll go back on it until I pick the eldest up from school which is where it goes off as it's a bit ott with both language and violence for a 5 year old (the 1 year old doesn't seem to care)

I booked the week off, my emplyers don't know why, I just asked for a week off

What do you book your time off for? Having a week in Barbados is hardly any better than a week on GTA, ultimately it's a break from work which everyone is entitled to.
 
So, my copy was put into my postbox, the same postbox the postman normally can't get 1 parcel in, he got 2 copies of GTA5 in today! What a good damn troll!

Orders were from Tesco and GAME respectively.

There's little greater in this world than Amazon Prime.

Received today: PS3 super-slim GTA V Edition, charging dock for controller, PS Plus 1 year sub, Heavy Rain, God of War Collection, and The Last of Us arriving tomorrow.

There are, however, two problems. One - I'm in bloody work, sitting with them surrounding me. Two - I have not yet informed the wife of what I've done.
 
Finally got past the load screen at the start. Got a bit way through to the end of Franklins mission and then I get a disk unreadable error kicks me back to the dashboard. So I load it up again and it hasn't saved my progress and now I can't get past the first mission because the NPC's are falling through the floor.

I'd go out and buy a new copy this afternoon but I'm unsure of whether its the game disk or my 360. All though tbh my 360 has been fine with all other games up until this point.
