It is sad, but I would not bet against me playing this for the next 6-7 hours straight!...got all the stuff I needed to do out of the way today, and I do not football tonight now as well.

Agreed. If it doesn't come today, then blast away, but when a pre-order arrives on day of release, I think anyone who considers it poor service needs their head looking at.

Well then it's a lot going by comments on some other forums which is a worrying thought for the future of mankind

Erm, Rockstar asked the game companies to not send it earlier, so don't blame ShopTo for sticking to that. They got it to you on day of release, give them a break. If anything, blame Royal Mail for it being slow, not ShopTo.

They stuck to it, bravo. They deserve a cookie. This didn't happen in the US.

Again it's my fault for being too excited, it has just taught me to buy from the store which is what a lot of people will be thinking today. At the end of the day shopto will have lost faith from customers through no fault of its own.

To all the people saying, you got it on release day. Yeah I did, but I expected it early. With a game like this I'll get maybe 3 hours out of it today. I'm quite busy so I don't have much time to game (look at my steam profile), I'm sure a lot of people fall under the same circumstances which is why people are peeved. If you can't understand that then you must have a lot of free time on your hands.

The cars handle great its just getting use to them, the fact i can drift around corners without having to break for me is a good thing, so much control.

Very true. The first car you steal as Franklin is all over the shop in terms of handling. As you use more vehicles it is clear that other vehicles handle a lot better.

Seriously?. You got the game on release day, what more do you want? Anyone ignoring Rockstar's request to not send it early would run the risk of annoying them so much that Rockstar cut them off from future games. Considering how big Rockstar games are, only the very biggest companies would risk their ire, and ShopTo played it safely. It's not like it arrived late is it? If your postie had been nice and early and dropped it on your doormat at 9am you'd probably be singing ShopTo's praises, so how about your direct your unhappines where it belongs.

Edit: To your last paragraph, that's your fault for expecting it early tbh. The game came out today, you got it today.

the little mini cooper rip off, is an speedy and very easy to control car for nipping about the city.. where as a van that you use later on in a mission, is complete ass to drive.

Try the tow truck I was crashing into everything in that because it just has no brakes!

Oh, I read it, I just think you're wrong to ever expect a game to arrive earlier than release day. If it does, bonus, if it doesn't, then tough luck. ShopTo were asked not to send it early, that was made public at least a week ago, yet you still expected it early. IMO the problem isn't with ShopTo, but your unrealistic expectations.

this might be a silly question but....i have the standard xbox do i need the harddrive for the better graphics like in BF3. i dont normally play the xbox so im not clued up lol. Thanks.

Just got mine from ShopTo; late postie - thought it was going to be tomorrow. Payed a quick 15 mins before heading back to the Laptop to do my bit to continue civilization and all that.

What a laugh! driving around with the hilarious radio banter on reminded me how much I miss GTA. Looks and plays great so far (PS3).
