It's better than it used to be though. Like in Trevor's desert missions I was just plowing through back yards in his truck destroying loads of objects.

I had so much fun on this last night. Just messed around for ages but eventually started to run out of money so decided to do the first heist.
I decided to do the smart and quiet way and i picked the cheap crewIt was so fun and crazy riding through the tunnels on a bloody road bike haha, I presume you would get a proper motorcross bike if you picked the good crew but i wanted more money lol. The switching to the van and ramming the cops off the road was so awsome...The missions in this destory GTA IV!...How was the Loud approach for people who did that?
Yeah I did loud with mainly expensive crew.. Just went in smashing and stealing all the jewels, shot the hoe who went for the alarm in the pasty and rode out on motorcross bikes. Was decent!! - I cheaped out on the gunman crew member as I figured I could take care of that aspect and he crashed his bike into a wall and died anyway so I got his share of the cash
Lol yeah the gunman guy crashed out for me too, I wasn't really bothered..more money I just found it funny having road bikes and the crew talking about how rubbish they are while fleeing lol

did you ? I went cheap on the gunman as well and it said in the dialogue that he dropped the bag he was carrying. so lost on loot. but i may have mis heard it.
also, this is quite interesting. it is amazing how close rockstar are able to get with the car companies.

Heist question:
When doing the jewellery heist did anyone else have a crew member die? I picked a cheap driver and he died whilst riding the bikes through the tunnels. I don't know if this was scripted or not though.

Calm down! I just woke up to see another 15 odd pages added to the thread from my last visit, sorry for not clicking on every single spoiler tag!
I found it worse on 360 than PS3 but tbh the frame rate is not great on either.
I am calm.
to your answer though:
Yes a few people have said, they've witnessed the gunman dying in particular, crashing. but you get his cut of the money

I'm usually quite fussy about frame rates, but I've not had any issues whatsoever. I'm on an old fat 360, playing off a 32Gb Lexar USB. I wonder if people's setups are having an affect on how the game plays, or if people just have different standards for what is an acceptable framerate.
The Police are really starting to annoy me. They are everywhere within seconds. I stole a motorbike from the top of a mountain and suddenly there are squad cars driving up the side to get me. 
Also when falling can you stop him falling on his head as he seems to head dive at every fall ?

mine rolls down the hill, and its really funny but annoying you cant stop him, you done a flying headbutt yet?
