Maybe people have jobs that afford them time to browse the net whilst they do other work? Just a thought. I suspect most of the posts were when people were waiting for their copy of GTA to arrive.

As for debating (correct term please), then I quite like it. The forum is full of intelligent people with their own viewpoints, it's very educational, even for trivial threads like this one.
However it does require some English skills and the balls to put your thoughts online to be ripped apart by other people.

What about the muslims that were born here, surely they are already HOME.
Where would you suggest they go? emigrate? because they don't like to eat wrongly labelled food?
The main issue at the start of the thread was a muslim family went shopping and bought something that is ok for them to eat within the guidelines of the religion they follow. However, there was a mix up and they ended up with the wrong thing. NOT THEIR FAULT. They complained it wasn't what they paid for and was offered alcohol as a sorry. NOT THEIR FAULT. It wasn't any one persons fault it was all a big mix up, storm in a tea cup, that has been blown out of proportion by the media.
The "western" world needs to make some adjustments to accommodate people with Islamic beliefs, not because its a superior religion or a god given right that anyone who is a muslim should be put on a pedestal for fear of offending them, its just about being decent to people.
Islam is not going away and the quicker people like you stop this "go home" ******** and start educating yourselves, ******** like this wont happen.
Its all well and good saying "go over there and tell them you don't like this and that" but you cant compare the UK or any other European country with one that's a religious state. Their societies have been built on entirely different laws, morals and social structures.
I own a fish and chip shop, i have plenty of muslims that come in to eat, i sell pork sausage, i make sure i don't cook or put the pork sausage anywhere near the fish, chips or anything else in stick in the fryer. Im not pandering to their religion im just being decent to people who are not the same as me, why is that so difficult for people like you to understand?

agreed to a point,
its all about give and take, at the moment there is such a bad attitude towards Islam it only takes the smallest thing to start of a riot.
Public tensions concerning muslims are high and its not all their fault.

no but it highlights the gap between those that believe in islam and the ones that don't.
do you really think that the family involved told the story exactly like the paper printed it? i bet they didn't, the paper put their own spin on it to sell papers.

And if thats exactly how it went down, then they was wrong to assume anything of the sort.
The point im trying to make is the muslims that get on their high horse need to chill out a bit and start educating people a little and those of us that dont know the subleties i.e pig and booze need to learn a bit.
I bet 10,000s of muslims get offered pork and booze every week and only a few react badly and many will politely explain to you the reasons why not.
And its not just muslims that kick up a stink if they dont get their own way either. But that wouldnt sell papers.
