Yup, when I first started playing it I was gutted at the amount of jaggies. The framerate also seemed low as soon as I started controlling Franklin at the very start. I'm used to a crisp image since I play mostly on PC and have been playing Sleeping Dogs lately which is a similar game.
I think I'm getting used to it now though since I didn't notice it as much last night. I like the lighting - I saw a sunrise in the game for the first time yesterday and it looked awesome. The artwork is also great and it feels like a real city. Sleeping Dogs feels a bit small and fake in comparison.
I like the background noise too. I could hear a motorbike in the distance and it really added to the atmosphere.
Sorry to ask such a novice question... but...
I just started the game, did the prologue, then that scene where that dude (Michael?) walks along the path and then bumps into those 2 gangster dudes who you eventually end up controlling....
How long after this do you get control of the other characters?

Gotta say I really am enjoying this so far. I think the driving is much better than IV personally. All cars have such a different feel while flying about. The mini lookalike is pretty mental any light touch at speed sends the car spinning in spectacular fashion lol.
The only thing I am still not sure on is the 3 character thing. Need to play more I think to get to know the characters better.

Kidding right? I'm playing about 10 foot away from a 50" plasma and the jaggies are painful
I too have been spoilt by playing games at max settings with AA cranked up on 1080p resolutions.
I assume GTA V is running at 720p scaled up? Probably less!
Michael after a couple of missions, Trevor is further down the line, I've not unlocked him yet.

Damn work getting in the way of GTA Is it just me or does traffic seem smarter this time? I've cut a few people up on the roads and they actually slow down and brake this time, I was shocked lol. Did GTA IV do this? Can't remember, it's been a while since I played it.

Landing a plane is harder than I thought it would be! Managed it 2 out of 3 times, but the first time was definitely luck, and I thought I was going to crash when I managed the 2nd landing as well. Definitely need some practise with that to feel comfortable with it before the online hits.

I also noticed that if I parked in front of a car to try and steal it they would eventually just drive around me I'm sure in IV they would just sit there forever.

They're all great characters. Trevor is by far the funniest lol. The guy really cracks me up

Does anyone know if there's a way to 'swap' cars between characters? Franklin has a car that I want Micheal to have, but don't want to spend all that money re-doing another car to the same spec.
Nah, they moved around you in GTA IV as well, just not as intelligently as the AI in V (most of the time they physically pushed the blockage away with their car).
I think I made a boo-boo though; hired the guy from LifeInvader to do the hacking side of things, didn't realise until after that he had the lowest skills of them all. Hopefully he comes through when I do it tonight...
Also I feel bad, I shot the guy driving the van carrying the gas I couldn't seem to get it to drop the gas by ramming it so I made him stop and had to shoot him because he started to drive away.

Unlocked Trevor last night, and finished the night getting him to LS, he his bonkers, I love him.
Right, slowly my ability to resit purchasing this is fading. Couple of possibly n00b questions.
I see folk talking about installing onto a USB drive, what's the reasoning behind this What's the music like in V? I always think the radio stations add so much to the atmosphere of the game, is it well implemented in V?. Can you still add your own music to it?

The reason for install to USB on the 360 is that it can cause some texture pop-in, this can be cured by installing the install disc to the 360 HDD, and then the play disc to a USB drive (minimum space of 16Gb required).
Rockstar do not recommend installing the play disc to the 360 HDD.
The music is good, fits the game really well.
I also picked the guy from lifeinvader but he actually turns out to give you enough time to get everything at least in my case. Also if you use the crappy guys their skills will increase but their cut won't so its good if you can train some of the worse guys up

I was flying a small plane around for about 20 minutes when it started making popping sounds, propellers stopped and Trevor shouted "out of fuel" but managed to land it on a bridge.
Anyone noticed if there's a display showing fuel left in the plane?
