US: Stephen Kings Under The Dome Series

Clearly never going to kill Barbie. Hate shows where characters are safe at the end of series like that.

barbie is the character for all the women I guess.

will he , wont he??!?!?! OMNFW!! best phone all my female friends fast!
I despise series than try to pander to audiences tbh for me it just makes horrible cheesy crappy acting and ruins everything

if people are going to do it atleast try to make it not stand out like a sore thumb.

all the best tv series tend to stay away from teen drama bullpoop that gets middle age woman horny like twicrap

Some of the characters are really annoying in this show, Junior and Linda just annoy me so much right now :(

Wtf was that?

We know Dean Norris is capable of so much more :(

The book is quite different, I hesitate to say better as I didn't actually enjoy it that much but some of the characters are markedly different, some don't even exist whilst others interact in very different ways. The ending in the book was pretty awful, although same could be said for many Stephen King novels, the journey is usually better than the destination.

I saw all 13 episodes.
It did improve in the final 3 episodes.
The first 10 episodes were weak.
It only got interesting once Barbie was "wanted" and on the run.
IMO, they should've completely got rid of the Sci-Fi twist, as it brings nothing but boredom to plot.

The SciFi twist is going nowhere, fast.

One thing that I simply can't get my head around is the situation where:
man1 kills man2
man1 ****s the widow (formerly married to man2)
widow finds out that man1 killed her husband
widow continues to **** (and even falls in love with) man1

I think man1 deserves to goto prison and the widow should goto a mental asylum.

Rather than signing up to online dating agencies, perhaps men should simply kill husbands, then **** the widows. What sort of woman would ever go for her husband's killer?

I thoroughly agree Sunama. My other half and I are constantly laughing about the deep feeling that Julia and Peter must have had for each other that she apparently dropped him like a hot rock. :D
Nori's melty face cracks me up to. How that girl got the job is beyond me. She isn't a pretty young lady by any means and displays acting skills on par with the 7 year olds in my kid's school plays.
Our other source of amusement is Linda. Leaving aside her incredible ineptness as a policewoman, there is her wonderful "I've got a heavy nose cold" voice.
UTD is supposed to be a comedy, right?

Holy thread resurrection! bit late I know but does this get any better? I am at the point in the first series when the underground fight/barter nonsense is going on at the cement factory, like out of nowhere and Big Jim a man with his fingers in every pie knows nothing about it, its like they make it up as it goes along fast losing patience with this, is it worth sticking with?
