** Call of duty ghosts (MW4) **

I actually thought I was watching BO2 footage on the 360 for about 50% of the multiplayer gameplay, I thought it would switch to Ghosts any second.....it was Ghosts the whole time :-(
 
I used to like COD, the old ps2 ones were golden, and I have to say Modern Warfare WAS innovative, It had a really well planned story with good character interactions and a fantastic multi. Now that the franchise has been milked for all it's worth, I am afraid the game no longer appeals to me because it is the same thing with a bit taken out and a little bit more added with a new skin slapped on.

I know its more than likly as its more of a console/kid/cheap player game but man i used to love it! I did however get fed up of the whole lot since black ops1. I have to say tho with the new engine and them pinching a fair amount from the bf series it looks pretty good. It seems to have taken whats good from both games into one, i've always loved the mechanics of bf and prefer it to cod now but the massive maps do annoy me i just want to shoot stuff not spend half my time trying to find somthing to shoot lol.

Anyone getting the new cod? i'll be picking a copy up to give it a bash
 
I don't think dog simulators are very popular here, you can check out Collarduty on twitter though.

Seriously though, ill give it a go.
 
I'll be picking it up eventually on one of the next gen consoles. I'm not too fussed about the hate train. I've enjoyed every COD, to varying degrees.
 
I've decided to wait 2 or 3 releases before taking another look at the series. Hopefully in that time it will feel fresh again.

Did this between CoD2 and Black Ops 1 and it felt so new and exciting to me that I didn't understand why everyone was hating on it. BO1 is now one of my fav of the series! haha.

I'm going to try and experience that again :P
 
After watching the trailers, nothing really excited me about this one. I caved for black ops 2 since most of my other friends were playing it, and after a week or so I got bored of it. I need to cave less to peer pressure :p

Have you gone back to play MW4? It really was the series peak in my opinion, I haven't even bothered with the last two nor will I bother with ghosts.
