Leeds Rhinos, best big game team for years. The charge is on again, despite the officials trying to screw em again!
 
Only caught the last 20 minutes (dragged around the Trafford Centre). Looked pretty tense. Leeds and Sts are two teams who know what its all about at this time of year. I reckon that Leeds will have to go to Warrington next week. On principle i think Wire will pick the lowest placed team left

Incidentally, I drove past the Salford ground earlier and noticed a game on (turns out Sale were at home). If we think the play off crowds are bad, they looked healthy compared to the turnout there.
 
Pulling my hair out in the stand last night watching that, need to re-watch it but was a classic game from what I remember. Head is sore now, though. :p
 
Weird when I was watching it, when it was 10-6 I was just thinking 'we won't throw this away' - had a streak of sheer arrogance running through me. Saints scored again and I actually felt like we were going to throw it away but thankfully they didn't convert.
 
Hardaker had a brilliant game last night and arguably is in better form than Tomkins is right now, going into the world cup. But I think Tomkins will be fb at wc nonetheless.

Good game last night, low scoring but tense!

Langley signed for Rovers today, I actually think thats a pretty good deal, a decent player.

Rumours abound that Peter Gentle has been sacked/contract not extended for next year. Harsh?
 
Aye Tomkins will get the nod for sure but Hardaker isn't too far behind. He did pretty much everything right last night and the break after Sinfields cheeky little pass was fantastic.

On that note I think Sinfield had a excellent game too, a lot of people give him loads of stick that don't notice most of what he does in the game. Often leading the chase on his own kick, his positioning, passing, kicking and the likely try saving tackle on the young winger last night shows he's the full package.

Fully expecting to be playing Wire next, I'd pick Leeds if I were them.
