********* The Official GTA V (5) thread! *********

This game still amazes me with new things every time I play it. Just the small stuff like how you can see chipped paint marks on cars after minor little scrapes and how funny the pedestrian banter often is.

I remember reading that you could go to concerts / see bands in this but I don't think it's possible. Anyone know?

Also, has anyone managed to actually get their custom plate from the iFruit app in game yet? Is it just meant to attach itself to the custom car you pick up? Just doesn't seem to work for me.

I've not seen or heard mention of anything like that in the game. The closest I can think of is going to the cinema.

I'd imagine personal tags would be for GTA Online only.

Does the online service work yet? None of my pictures will save as it says the Social Club service is unavailable?

Also, took a Jet Ski out to the edge of the map..... :D

Yup, my custom plate is on both Michael's and Franklin's car in the game. It might be on Trevor's as well but I've not really paid attention to it.

Yup. Works for me. It should add it to the car that spawns nearest to you when ever you switch character. You can also add it if you go to a garage and you can change your plate there

I had a shark circling my jetski last night, i did get a tad scared, nothing a few bullets wouldnt sort though!

I do have a question though, is there anyway of getting scuba gear to go exploring?

I believe the Sonar Collections Dock property you can buy has a Scuba kit? Not bought the property myself yet, but have been told by a mate!

It's located on the North West side of the map.

I saved the Franklin assassinations missions until I had a bit of money from missions, at around 50% in, I done them all and took advantage of the stocks doing them all in a row.

Managed to get:
Franklin on 11mil
Michael 17mil
Trevor 8mil

I'm lost

can you explain how. It sounds as though you buy the stocks of the rival companies on your alt characters as soon as you start the mission ? then sell them a bit after ?

Also, have these in Michael's Garage

You buy the relevant stock with each character before you do the mission, then sell up afterwards.

He's not that wrong. As far as actual gameplay goes it's not that good, it's more like an interactive story where you occasionally hold left trigger and then jab the right trigger. Actual gameplay is simplistic. However the story is fantastic and the open world and its possibilities are epic (literally). Personally I don't like having to do the sane part of a game over and over and over just to progress through the story because the gameplay is actually challenging, however if that's your thing then this game isn't for you.

I think sometime people get over impressed by the content of the game and it makes them slightly short sighted as to what they are actually playing.

For me it's the best game ever, however I have no problem seeing why some don't like it.

How do you know which company if you haven't started the mission yet.

Does it work if you buy the stock, then re do the mission a second time knowing in advance which company to buy with your alt characters ?
