I'd never experienced this engine cut out business but had heard people say about it. Earlier however I did seem to experience something with one of the private jets from the airport, where my engines, or mainly one, had black smoke coming out and sometimes looked like they were sparking or some flames were present
Never happened before and all I was doing was flying. Still landed and put in the hanger
If that happens, save the game, reload, the smoke disappears.
Or try swapping characters and back again.

I had the massive commercial jet cut out on my, and then I crashed. I also had a smoking engine on one of the smaller jets, as a result of being shot at, I escaped the police, but the more I flew the worse it got. The other engine then started smoking, so I bailed out.
Hahah the altruists camp
went to do my 3rd random event people drop off with Trevor and they decided to take me in too. Gets taken to be sacrificed but manages to get hold of a gun. Worthwhile though at the early game stage as you find 4 bundles of $25k in the camp. I was just so surprised. Wasn't expecting it at all!

Switched to Trevor earlier a couple of times
First time he was chasing down a woman in his jeep in the sewers drain thing and shouting profanities about showing her his private parts.
Second time he was walking out of the strip club with panties in his hand, took a sniff and put it in his pocket.

My favourite so far is where he walks out of some kind of brothel wearing a flowery dress.
I think, after almost a week with the game I only have 3 real gripes, and 2 of them are UI based!
Crosshair is just too small, maybe it is my eyes? But I just cannot see that small dot most of the time!
The way health and armor is displayed under the map make it hard to notice in the peak of a fight, I've died so many times due to just missing looking at the health bar due to it being a lot smaller & out of the way than previous GTAs
Bike handling, so so not good! I was a big advocate of TA IV's handling and driving physics, really liked them, I've adapted to the cars in V and they do feel fun, but the bikes just feel strange
Other than that, s'all good, about 36 missions in, having a lot of fun!

Uhhh, Chilliad Mountain State Wilderness there's a fenced off enclosure, inside you get rocket launchers and everything and all the males there appear to be wearing nothing at all, penises hanging out.... Just took a selfie in there, not sure I can post it on the forums? Haha.
Change crosshair from simple to complex in the settings mate!

Well that was a bit good, now on to the stranger missions, random events, stunt jumps, property missions, radioactive waste collections, UFO part collections, note collections, car collecting, money making, flight school, sea and land races. Oh and uncovering the rest of the map which I still haven't done.
Only during the story missions, but you'll be able to organise and complete heists in Online when it's released.
Yeah i agree the flying is awsome with this game. It feels really nice and looks amazing.
Most impressive for me is the amount of variety and detail thats gone into the missions. They were pretty boring in GTA4 but in this they feel much more interesting and more like your in the middle of a movie rather than just go from A to B ect.
This would definatly be up there with my top 5 gaming experiances.

On the way to a heist now with the irish dude from GTA4 and it was cool listening to him talk about the liberty city heist he pulled with Niko
