Capital One Cup - Second Round 24/25 September *** Spoilers ***

They both look really nervous, I'm glad he put that team out as we really shouldn't be busting a gut to win this, we need the hungrier players on the pitch after that **** poor performance on the weekend.

They both look too nervous to really go for it, let's get this over and move onto the proper league games.

Given the clattering both sides are giving each other, I wouldn't really want Ozil/Rambo etc taking part, getting injured and missing a load of games. It's all kinds of ugly so far.
 
It's amusing but one day he'll post up a picture of his front room after he's trashed it when Liverpool have lost or something and it'll be carnage.

Trying to just dink it over our defence? I'd probably agree ours is worse but United's ain't doing anything, need to get Sergourney the ball a bit better

Lucas looked fine for me, pretty crap he got a complete non booking and will now be rather ineffective due to being scared

You jest but in the good old days of 32 in flat screens when they were still seen as massive, I kicked the corner of ours so hard after a game it span round and hit me in the arse!

To be fair, I was massively inebriated. I had to buy the Mrs some expensive shoes that weekend as an apology :/

This actually proves to me that you dont bother to pay any attention to what Wenger does in the Capital Cup comps. He has always played our youngsters in this competition, sometimes he will put out a strong team but generally he plays the youngsters to give them game time to prove themselves.
 
Maybe they were just pressing him well, but it looked like Lucas couldn't wait to get rid of the ball every time he got it.

I've never seen Buttner play tbh, but he looks out of his depth, is he a youngster?
