I think Leeds will do it. Wigan of late are no Warrington and we gave them a bloody tough game the other week. Also beat Wigan in their own yard few weeks back which I'm sure will be fresh in the mind of everyone on that pitch.

As for Huddersfield, I almost feel like they'll feel a bit insulted about being picked, winning the league and all that. They'll come out all guns blazing and really stick it to the Wire. Both should be good games.
 
Happy with the decision, it was what I wanted. You wouldn't pick Leeds purely on past history, they have an affinity with the play-offs and know how to get through to the final. Huddersfield, whilst having won the league, have not been in this position before, so hopefully the occasion will be too much for them and Wire will turn on the attack, but more importantly will man up in defence too.

I said to a lot of my mates at the start of the playoffs I would expect a Warrington Vs Leeds final again, not many believed me, but it's on the cards!
 
Tomkins finally revealed that he's off to the NRL to play for the knights. Good riddance! :p

In all seriousness, I'll miss him in the SL. Something needs to be done to keep the talent over here or else the game standard is never going to improve. I think the World Cup will hopefully shock the RFL into doing something.
 
Mixed feelings about Tomkins going. He's the best player we've had in ages. Its sort of been inevitable that he would go this year. The one saving grace is that he's stayed in the game rather than go to the dark side. However, I don't think we'll see him in SL again. He's seen through Joel how much money can be made and if it doesn't work out over there I would expect him to play RU. I hope he does well in the NRL, but the WC will give us a better idea. I personally think he'll struggle at full back with the quality of the kicking game over there. I'd be more tempted to play him at 6
 
So with more rumours of Briscoe being signed by the Rhinos, I'm not sure [with our current squad] what the point is? All I can think of is that BJB is headed elswhere, there were rumours of him becoming a Wolve. Either that or Zak is going to fill Tomkins' boots at Wigan and play alongside his friend Josh and Bjb goes to FB. (:eek:)
 
I'd heard rumours about Hardaker leaving, but not sure where too. BJB to the Wolves isn't something i'd heard, was under the impression that Ratchford would play FB next year to replace Hodgson, Penny is back for one wing with Joel M on the other.

Funny on Wiki what some people will do to stir gossip, apparently according to that site we (Wolves) have signed Cameron Smith........ and on the Rhino's page Ryan Hall is coming to us too...... :D

I have heard about BJB, we have also signed Clarke from Cas.
 
Now for Rhinos to win tomorrow then beat Wire in the final and it will be like last year all over again :P
 
First hurdle overcome and the best team into the final :D

Now just need Leeds to beat the pie eaters, mainly as it will be great banter on the train across to Old Trafford as usually the only Wire fan leaving from Leeds, and even better on the way back dancing down the carriages taking the pee!
 
Full of cold yesterday and bit better today so actually fell asleep during the Wire v Hudds game! Shame because I read afterwards that it was a cracker. I've already had a pre-sleep for the game tonight so should last the distance!
 
So far you feel that Leeds just aren't getting into this. Wigan don't look especially threatening either, but they definitely look less likely to concede any points.
 
Double score by Wigan, no way back for Leeds now, surely? Watkins should have been brought off and replaced by somebody else if not fit, daft keeping him on.
