The one thing i have seen from looking through superstar is its a lot more hit and miss, there QA seems dreadful but you can get lucky and have no issues. I only use there grips so far, but there isn't much to go wrong with them.

Their grips look fine, was considering about ordering a set of bars too as there pretty cheap!

guys having a problems with my rear brake my a horrible sound when breaking, it's not the normal squeel you may get if you had wet / oily pads. They the brake works fine its just when it engages it makes a really loud noise.

Tried the following:
re-aligning the brake by loosening the caliper and pressing the brake and then re-tighten.
Re-alligning by sight
sanded down the disc and pad
replaced pad
replaced disc and pad together.
Replaced wheel

Still does it :( does it wet and dry and at any speed.

Ideas before i bite the bullet and either buy a new brake or take it to the shop?

stick some copper grease behind the pads.

Buy another bike, everyone needs another bike.

I could name about 3 i'd give a home to in an instant. Rode a 29" Spesh Enduro today, was rather nice, so light.

Thinking about selling the Tues. Even though I live <10 miles from a DH track it's just not been used in....a long time. Plus we have a baby [ read Solo / 5010] on the way and need the room.

Nothing wrong with the SS components that I have used, pedals, grips and hub.
The wheel build i recieved from then was the worst build I've ever come across though.

Does anybody know whats going on with the reverb stealth? Nobody seems to have them in stock and some say discontinued. Is a new one coming out soon?

Also now i'm ready to buy one I need to figure out what length and drop I need. Is there an easy way to figure this out?

Didn't know anywhere better to ask :P

So my dad sent me some new tyres for my Revolution Triad as a birthday present, only they seem to have got rather squashed/warped in the mail. I'm hoping they'll just sort themselves out when i put them on the wheels (which i can't do yet since i don't have a pump), but i'd feel better if someone could confirm...

They are broken now and can not be used.
If you ride them like that, you will end up having to over / under steer to compensate.

Could have been dodgy!!!!

Had a fright this morning. Decided yesterday to stick the bike on the roof mounted carriers and go straight to my local single track at Callander Estates for an early morning blast. I was nightshift last night so took the bike to work and went straight to the trail car park when I came off duty this morning. The weather was dry but seriously foggy until about 11.30am. Upon arrival I got the bike off the roof, got sorted out and headed off down the first trail to warm up. At the third corner which jinks tightly through a gate followed by a couple of long logs bordering the single track trail I was going at a fair lick and went for the brakes as I've done at the same place many times before to find absolutely nothing in the form of stopping power. Not a thing. Just a high pitched squeal. I managed to haul the bike over and avoid the gate then haul it the other way left and right to avoid the logs. I was all over the place and have no idea how I managed to stay upright. Finally came to rest off the trail in the grass.

Of course, it had been the fog/damp affecting the brakes on the bike while it was on the roof of the car. I didn't even think to be honest as I've only had the roof mounted Mont Blanc Barracudas for a month or two and up until now conditions have been dry with no such thing as fog present. Lesson learned though, won't make that mistake again!!!

Not had chance to get out and ride properly recently with decorating and other boring stuff.
Got out for a little bit today with the dog on some local trails. Unfortunately didn't get any dog pics but got a couple of shots of the bike in it's latest guise. Here's one of them.
