Merryweather yeah! I don't know if I'm laying low that's the thing, I assume I am but nothing is happening :o

I remember the missions but quite the order they came in I struggle to remember so trying to answer without giving away potential spoilers id difficult. From memory you don’t lay low after that mission (though you do later on in the game but I don’t think are there yet). On the character selection wheel who has missions outstanding? usually the easiest way to find out who has a story mission to do.
 
That's the thing, none of them have active main missions :( At least I don't think so. I'll post a screenshot of each character's map later today if that helps.

Once you've got the sub and cargobob you get a phone call a day or two later from Trevor saying you're good to go and calls you to his new LS pad.
 
Never noticed any numbers but I never looked for them either, will check this afternoon!

I've got Franklin's new pad of course if that's what you meant? Michael's house is being re-done according to a message so I assumed I just wait until I get a call or message about that once done.

Trevor moves in with Wade's cousin in LS. As it's Trevor's heist, he'll call (might be text) you when you are playing either Franklin or Michael and tell you it's good to go and to come meet him. Sounds like you may not be far enough ahead with Trevor's missions if you haven't reached that point (although seem to recall you have to be to start the heist?).

You also have to do the first FIB mission as Michael to trigger the Merryweather heist start.
 
I went into Trevor's cousin's pad last night and on the wall is the heist plan, all the tickboxes on the right of the board are ticked so I've definitely done the prep it seems, just when I play as the other two Trevor has yet to call.

As Michael the FIB building is blue but when I go there as Michael there doesn't appear to be a way in.

Sure I'm missing something :o I think the FIB is where I need to focus but that damn building, how to I get in!
 
Pretty sure you don't need to get in the building, from memory you pull up on the road and there's a guy to talk to outside?

Omg, all this time I've been nicking a chopper and landing on the grounds.

If that's why it wasn't activating I'll kick my own self :D
 
Just checking, but the Play disc USB install is just to reduce DVD noise on the Xbox? There is no performance advantage to just playing with the disc in the drive?
I know it's not advisable to install both disc's to the hard drive

Yes purely to reduce noise but it also doesn't hurt to do it to keep your dvd drive nice a healthy :)
 
There is a performance advantage of installing the play disc, texture pop has been dramatically reduced for me. I suffered the same as the Digital Foundry video for texture pop in playing with just the disc on my 250Gb 360 S.
 
Good to know, thanks. I have a new style 360 and am playing with the play disc in the drive.
I will prob pick up a USB stick this week :) 16gb USB 2.0 seems to be the recommended spec

What I did was put the install disc on the USB and installed the play disc to the HDD. Night and day difference! Much faster load time at the beginning, faster switch between characters, game itself feels smoother too. And a nice quiet Xbox. Win!

Now I'm confused. What is are you supposed to install on the USB stick, the 'Play' or the 'Install' disc? :confused:
