US: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part II - The finale.

Just watcheed the last episodel. It was pretty good, nicely tied up everything, but I wasn't as blown away as I thought I would be. I think the neo-nazis just weren't very interesting bad guys. Just compare Jack to Gus, they are in a different league character wise. They were just some generic bad guys.

I thought Walt would have some kind of epic monologue at the end. At least a conversation with Jessie after all that happened.

I'm with the others thinking Walt is actually going to go to Grey Matter. I think it will be up to Jesse alone to take on the Neo Nazis. We shall see! :)

I was starting to think everyone else had forgotten about GreyMatter. Someone wrote in a post a while back that the Swartz pair were unavailable and that the TV appearance scene would be it. Thankfully he was so very wrong. :D

Just saw the finale, absolutely amazing stuff and a great ending as well. Such an awesome moment watching Meth Damon get his just desserts at the hands of Jesse too! "You shouldn't have come here Mr White"... :D

It was good. It finished much as I expected it would, with Walt taking revenge and rescuing Jesse, so no great surprises, but hey, why would you want surprises. There's no point in having surprises and twists just for the hell of it. If the characters are well formed and the story well told, then after 60 episodes you should have a good feeling for what they'll do in a given situation.

Jesse's killing of Todd was very visceral. I always find it a bit uncomfortable when a murder is so pleasing to watch.

Jesse, I think, reached redemption at the end of the story. He'd long wanted to turn his back on that life, and his release gave him that. Walt, I don't think was, really. He escaped, in death, but I don't think he was really redeemed of all the wrong he'd done.

Just watched the last episode. Enjoyed it. Everything wrapped up nicely.

Sad its finished but also glad its finished as the show had run its course and if they tried to extend it, it wouldve ended up ruining what could quite possible be my favorite piece of TV of all time. It peaked at Gus' death (although Hanks death episode was also up there)) and nicely came to a close in season 5.

Loved it.

I just finished watching it earlier. It's a great series, it really is. I felt somewhat underwhelmed though with the last episode. I don't think it does justice to the previous few episodes. If you were to watch the last 2/3 episodes all out in one evening, i think it would be incredible tv. Definitely agree with the statements that Gus was a wicked bad guy. Very eery character..

Firstly I would like to say that I absolutely loved the finale. I also think it ended modestly, but in a good way. A show like this could have gone absolutely nuts with the ending but they kept things in check and tied up loose threads neatly. The lack of dialogue was just a touch of excellence and a testament to just how well written and acted the characters were. The look that Walt and Jessie gave each other before parting ways was just spot on. They said everything they needed to say without having to utter a single word.

For me it was quite simply the perfect ending. What a show, just awesome from start to finish.

I feel this went under appreciated.

see I loved it, but it's still open ended!

We never found out if he died, he's collapsed many a time before....

I'm pretty sure if you watch the end back again you can see one of the cops crouch next to Walt & try & take a pulse then turn to the guy next to him & shake his head.
