i think will it will definitely crash around 6. curiously im just on the intro to the online. yes there is a different one. properly animated and directed. but im getting severe texture popping. i dont really mind but i wonder if it has something to do with it having to connect online ??? though that sounds a bit weird to me
 
I'm dubious about BAWSAQ being a truly community-based stock market. Firstly it can't be due to multiple saves and also the guy you drive to the airport tips a stock on there (Tiskin or whatever it was called).

Play the stock market a lot, create duplicate saves incase something goes really wrong with the stock prices. Easiest way to make money is to do the assassination missions at the very end following the video posted previously in this thread as with the assassination and rebounds $25million becomes $1.2billion :D I bought every property I could as Michael and still have just over $1 billion. Just a shame the game limits you to one hooker at a time :( :D

Yes only the 4th character will be online, the online story is set before the single player story and apparently you meet some of the single player characters during the story but you wont be able to play online as Michael, Franklin or Trevor.

And one (some?) of the assassination missions effect Bawsaq too. I don't know how it is effected but the figures are the same for everyone so some community aspect is there. I do wish R* provided a little more info on the stocks though instead of just going 'here they are, figure them out'. Not necessarily to great detail but whether LCN is effected by player actions (blowing up cluckin bell trucks for example) and whether bawsaq is effected by player actions in single player only or single player / online or neither.

The multiple saves thing depends on how R* saves the information. If the save is local to the amout of shares you buy so simply looks at what you bought and amount and compares it to the price of today or whether R* records the amount spent on shares. If it is the first I agree the prices shouldn't fluctuate on what people buy however if the second is true, then the multiple saves has no effect as R* servers could see it is as a completely seperate game (and then it wouldn't matter whether two saves on your console or one on yours and one on mine)

O so all this stock market money making is actually pointless then :p

Was only doing it so i had plenty of money for online.
 
I'll be on the multiplayer tonight! I've been half deaf for about a week though so it's probably not a good idea to put a headset in my good ear so I won't be on comms until I'm better, assuming I get better. :p

Tell me when you get better and Ill join you - I still want to enjoy the SP but just busy over the last week to get anywhere. Really want ot cherish it!
