GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

Can do the race in solo mode, i did. Then you can just jump straight into game. But likes other have said, it is pretty ****.

Bugs or not, there is nothing fun happening.

Just people trying to run you over or getting on with their missions.

Need a mass OcUK game/server. Might give plenty of giggles. If anyone knows how to do this, do it. (private session im guessing)
 
I really hope that we can make missions, the ones we have currently are pretty boring, at least for me.

I would have preferred death matches, racing and such to be just activities and then having real missions as the missions.

The only thing I can see myself doing until hiests are realeased is robbing shops and selling off stolen cars to build up my cash pile. (specific to solo - I will always join and help friends and crew in DM's/races etc)

A team death match is not a mission, at least not in the sense for a GTA game. Seriously frustrating.

BTW selling cars is currently the fastest way to make money, so if you can get on (which is hard in itself) go and steal cars and sell them as much as you can (at LS customs)

I really feel sorry for you guys who cant get online or have empty maps.. When I have been playing online its always been populated with at least 12 players sometimes a full amount. I have had so much fun so far from what I have played.

Its a shame its not working for everyone.

aww... don't do that.. I only joined today :-(

My house mate had issues logging in last night but I sent him a game invite and he joined right away. Maybe that may work if we can get crew members online and as friends (not crew friends but on xbox its self) it may help joining some games?
 
Someimes I get on a couple of games that have 8 or more players. Majority of time the main map has around 5 players, and I find myself playing the jobs alone one team and 2 people on the other..
 
Not been able to get online at all yet. Other than creating my character. Times out when trying to connect to online.

Can any access their profile on the rockstar social website? Not been able to access mine since Online became active. Want to use the map etc on there to help finish all tasks to get 100%

Really? That seems kind of cheap to me :(
 
xenon. I noticed when I first played on launch morning but since then it has really settled down.. I dont notice it now not sure if its just me but it seems very good. Same goes for peds and cars yeah there are less than single player but I have noticed more around midday and evening when people are going home from work.

Yeah, I have faith still just running close to empty on patience lol :p

I was in a death match where when I died, I lost all my guns,attachments and paint. So of course I lost with ease :D

Hopefully these problems will be sorted fast.

I noticed it during the intro. Im currently stuck at 'launching session' for the race mission. Will this actually load eventually or has it died?
 
This redefines tedious. Even the time taken to 'load GTA Online' as far as the stupid message that it timed out is huge - I've gone through the same bunch of 'tips' about 3 times now I've been waiting so long.

At what point does this game begin to fall foul of SOGA? It just simply doesn't seem to work. At all. I must have wasted several hours since the release now trying to get it to work, never managing to get into a game.

@ Xenon Not sure. When I logged in for the first time I went through the cinematic s, did the race right away and then the first few missions to introduce to some characters and since them its been all good bar a couple of connection issues.
 
You are a fickle bunch lol. The single player is excellent and other than some none game breaking bugs has played damn well here. At least they have had the man marbles to come out and say "expect some teething problems". I don't remember the last online game that actually launched without issue on day 1. Give it a bit of time before ripping into it.
 
Second night in a row I've had to give up. Can't even play solo mode without it getting stuck on "please wait". GTA Online just continuously waits for players.
