So this is what my Rose is going to look like some what :P.

Its sitting on a stand which they are giving us to :p.
 
1.2 is the lowest it will accept? 0.7 is the difference, and you're reading 2.0... so 1.3 should work but a little variance in the device or multimeter could explain. Try 7 wraps?

Fires my Protank 2 fine. My RSST fires fine on my ego...this is not how I want it...lol

With the workings out, it was 2.0 ohm. I have also held the button whilst screwing the RSST onto the SID, once it makes contact, the lcd says 'short'
 
Even stranger...just trying it all over again, fiddled with the centre post. Slowly screwed it in and 1 part registered on my SID (set it to resistance, nice feature!) and it read 1.5 Ohm. but, it was so loose that it wouldn't be good to vape...anyway, my cells are dead, so stuck them on charge and will try again soon.

so your 2.0 ohm coil reads as 1.5 ohm on the SID?

Did you do that without the wick in place?

anyway going back to the centre post on the rsst where it meets the 510 on your device. You'll notice it is pin shaped and not flat. Therefore there will be less contact with your device. Just double check that it is making sufficient contact.
 
I have a Kanger EVOD setup with a mini Pro-Tank II I want to get some more tanks so I ca change around without having to clean them all the time - I love the idea of RSST but I'm not sure about the fittings and to further complicate the issue I want to buy a variable voltage setup - Can someone advise me on adapters and also a variable voltage set-up that I can put batteries in.

I've noticed that during use, when I get towards the bottom of a tank, the juice gets much darker - is this normal or an indication that something is not right? I've took to throwing the last bit of juice away but it may be a waste.

No, no. It is a 1.5 Ohm coil registering at 1.5 Ohm. I binned the others I made thinking they was duff...I may file a small flat-spot on that pin actually...
 
WOOHOO! Fixed it. Hit the sweet spot. My 1.5Ohm coil fires up nicely. Only thing now is I take a toke/vape and it splurts loads of juice onto the deck...I am guessing this is due to a pretty empty battery not giving the power to burn it all fast enough?

Screwed the center post up, then the atty down. Then, whilst holding the button with resistance showing, I very slowly screwed the center post back down, and up, and down and I found the sweet spot. The coil is a moderate 1.5 Ohm...

I think the reason my atty got flooded twice was due to the battery being nearly flat and not providing the power needed...Now, got 2 Efest IMR 18650's on charge. Then, I will fiddle about with the easy to use settings and find me a nice base-point of Volts/Watts :)

I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you guys for helping me out today, I know I was a right pain. I feel amazing now that my SID + RSST is running like a champ, it vapes like a train!! Thank you guys.

Okay I'm set on the vamo and I have batteries and charger sorted - now I need coil wire and wick (I like the stainless steel mesh) and also I need a RSST or 2
