One thing I noticed on there which isn't quite right:

•High end cars have to be purchased. This means any sports cars or super cars, they have to be purchased from the phone website. They cannot be modified and cannot be kept if found on the road.

I've lost it now but my first character had a stolen Bravado Buffalo sports car as a personal vehicle.
 
I'm just hoping & praying that my character is still there from yesterday.
I have my 1st garage a decent motor a few grand & I'm level 8, If I go on today & have lost it all I will cry. :p

I've had mine disappear twice now, any money that I've banked is still there just keep looking character & progression :(

Hopefully the patch due today will resolve a few of the main issues.
 
I had a far better experience in this last night. It was really great fun in fact. I discovered a couple of things that just weren't obvious to me before. The main one is that if you want to keep your hosted missions as friends only affairs then you can turn off matchmaking once you select the "confirm settings" option on the host screen. It is always on by default though, which needs addressing. Once off, randoms can't join so it ensures you are only with mates.

I am now concluding that co-op stuff (not team based stuff) can only be accessed via texts etc you receive as "jobs" from contacts in free roam mode. They aren't anything to do with missions? This distinction is not clear enough but once you know this it becomes easier to work out what to do. I just hope that you unlock more and more co-op jobs and they become far more challenging and involved. Anyone done any really tough ones yet?

I know, but it says "This means any sports cars or super cars" and the Buffalo is a sports car, so it's not quite right. The Banshee is also a sports car and you can't make that your personal vehicle, so it seems it just depends on the car rather than no sports cars at all. There may be better sports cars than the Buffalo that you can steal and make your own, not sure.
 
am i missing something (ps3)

I just seem to drive around, getting drugs and droppping them off.

I thought the on line game would be shooting people etc, races.

I must be missing something, this just seems like the single player game but on line?

There are various deathmatches, races dotted about the map also team based misson and such just have to drive around and find them, hint they are usually big blue circles, also when u have finished 1 misson it will stick u in a window which will give you a choice of 6 different missons/deathmatches/races with 2 refreshes
 
Managed to get in 5 mins online before it eventually crashed.... Forgive me if this has already been mentioned but the graphics (in online mode) look so poor it hurts.

I hope this new patch resolves some of the graphical issues. If not then I think I'd prefer to play this offline.

Aren't the buffalos and banshees muscle cars? Although I don't see why they'd be easier to get and mod than other similar performance cars that the game classes 'sport' or 'super' so you're probably right.
