Just you :) his right tire went off to fast.
My thoughts are that Merc should have put better gear ratios so he would be faster this is twice he has lost out because of speed.
 
Just watched the highlights. Not a bad race if you ignore position 1 in qualifying and the race. Some good battles and a decent amount of overtaking, it did seem that the majority of passes weren't just overtakes with DRS half way along the straight too which was nice.
 
Bore fest apart from the safety cars.

2nd half of the race was better though. Vettel being 2 seconds a lap faster than anyone when he wants is just rubbish though.

Also, and I've noticed this in the last few races, Hamilton is dog slow in the straights. Today was just embarrasing though. He got mugged at the start and at both safety car restarts and couldn't even take people with drs.

Also, lol tyres.

Those were my thoughts. He has poor traction and loltopspeed.

Two restarts and 2 positions dropped :(

The problem is that 1st place is pretty damn important -arguably the most important position.

Vettel is now winning races with ease and the rest of the field have now all come to terms with this predicament. It almost feels that Vettel has now "broken" all his opponents.

And the worst part of this, is that its quite conceivable that this trend will more than likely continue into next year. Bookies will certainly put Vettel as favourite to win next year's title...a 5th straight title.

Incidentally, today was the first time, that I decided not to watch the race live, even though I was awake. Its been a long time since I last felt that a single driver was so overwhelmingly favourite to win a race, that I didn't need to actually see the race, to know who won it.
 
He's not a massively overwhelming favourite next year.

Driver of the day for me easily Hulk. It would be blasphemy if he werent in a top team next year. Lewis looked gp2 in comparison :D very funny !

Hulkenberg has one good race and suddenly he's the cream of the crop ? Ridiculous. Come back with that argument once he's won a WDC. :p

Lewis had a good race and certainly wasn't 'gp2' as you put it. I guess the haters always hate.
 
I've always rated the hulk, I put him down for the Red bull seat if ricciardo didn't get it. There are much worse drivers on the grid.

Ive rated hulkenberg for a while now. Pole lap Brazil last year etc. Or was that not remarkable enough in a williams.

And where did I say I hate lewis. I said he looked gp2 behind nico or am I not allowed my own opinion?

Wasn't that the weather ? It was raining right and Hulk managed to time his qually to get pole ? That's not talent, it's luck. :rolleyes:

As said before, followed him in the A1 GP days which was a level playing field. It seems a Lotus seat is almost certain. Glad Massa and Barrichello are less likely now.

It is also crazy to think that had it not been for the Brawn loophole, he would be looking at his 6th straight title.

Same for me, I had it on in the background whilst making breakfast / washing up / doing my hair / anything else..
