There was a poster a few years ago called Harley (who may or may not have been resurrected as Sequoia) who gave the impression he was quite wealthy. Whether or not it was BS who knows, but I found him quite convincing over an extended period. I considered him to be both intelligent and educated, and his postings could stand on their own merits, rather than simply being an elaborate troll.

Depends on your vintage and what you like I suppose, but I'd take a like for like ~03 Cristal over a Dom of the same any day.

Krug, I like, but whether I like it more, I don't think I'd go that far. Completely depends on what I'm having at the time and what year it is, though.
 
I have at times in my life been wealthy, but not stupidly so.

Don't think it matters mind you, your monetary status doesn't have any bearing on my respect for you. If you have money? Good for you. If you don't? Who cares.

Top end hardware is very cheap actually, compared to top end lots-of-other-things. A few grand will get you there.

Try top end cars, art, jewellery, wine, aircraft, yachts, property...

I'm not so sure, I always thought he was a bit if a wind up tbh, he used to make subtle mistakes. I remember when he was supposed to be living in America but knew how much a loaf of bread was over here.

How many multi millionaires do you know that live in America but know the price of bread?

Oh and he had the opportunity more often than not to prove everyone wrong but that was normally when he went missing for a couple of weeks.

I'm not speaking on that persons behalf but you do know there are some really stingy rich people who care even for $1?

Just for the record. Real rich people don't drink champagne period. Only poor trying to be rich drink the likes of Cristal, Dom or Krug.
