GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

+1 for Pistol, I use the one you start with plus extended mag.
I'm Getting the one shot kills down to a tee with it although I do tend to flap a bit when the **** kicks off lol.
No need to waste cash on other weapons while I'm desperately trying to build up $$$$s for a big enough house to organise heists from.
 
Just had a good 2 hours. Didn't die once, everyone in server was just getting on with their thing.

Looks like social club is still down though. Cannot find any crew members.
 
I read somewhere that you can create groups, Is this true? If so how do you do it? I was just rocking around with my brother killing stuff as we were in the same crew (we are on PS3)
 
I got to level 3 and haven't bothered any more. I expected the problems for a few days at first due to so many people trying to play, but now it's getting silly. I'm not even going to attempt to play it again until all these issues are sorted. I was expecting to be playing this for a while but it's looking more like I'm just going to get a PS4 and forget about this now.

It's a stupid feature that barely works right, people can just votekick you from games for no reason and it sends you further and further towards that category. Surely GTA online is all about causing mayhem, if I wanted to build money up and sit in my nice little apartment not harming anyone I'll install The Sims.

I'm only messing with you. I was chasing some guy down yesterday for the bounty and accidentally blow up his car. The only thing that really happened was that I had to pay for his insurance so as long as you are actually blowing up peoples cars on purpose then I don't think there's anything wrong with the system.
 
Kinda glad I've left the multiplayer then from the sounds of things, wanted to finish single player before I tried it. Shall hang on until they hopefully get it working fully and properly.
 
Pretty sure with the amount of money and characters disappearing there must have been some sort of recession in los santos. Thats why the stock markets are always down ;)
 
I don't get why people are moaning about other players killing them when you can set up and invite only game. It's what I do. Just do that and get my friends in.
 
I think The random bounty's and the bad sport for destroying another players personal vehicle should be took out... The game placed a $7000 bounty on me for stealing a car (not another player). Its tells you if its anther player but sometimes when you steal a car you'll get a text to the affect of "you've messed with the wrong person" from Unknown

Then it places the bounty on you....

Now this is were I have the problem, some dude has come to collect said bounty, so I started to run up to the north... I stopped and killed him 3 times.... he kept chasing, so on the 4th time I killed him, I threw a sticky bomb on his car and blew it up to hopefully stop him chasing me...... according to the game fighting to stay alive makes me a bad sport
 
I had 2 races early on Saturday morning around Los Santos prison. In both races I came second but the game labeled me as winner at the end. The raging over the microphone was sheer class. The moment my char got into the real world, I switched servers right away as I feared the other players would gun me down :D

If you haven't started online it is probably the best approach. Touch wood I haven't had any problems however I know I am risking it when I play online. It is also pretty balanced it seems so you wont be at any real disadvantage joining later.

I know going back to free roam after doing missions with friends / crew mates going back to free roam puts people into different worlds more often than not even when we started in the same on. I never thought of setting up a private game but I wonder whether it will alleviate that problem.

If anyone needs a laugh though go read GTA forums as there are so many people moaning about online who will (apparently) never play gta online again and never buy another R* game again lol. Some even apparently are trying to get a refund from R* for the the game :D provides a good laugh on a Monday afternoon.
