That was me! Think it was only a matter of time before I nosed dived into the ground anyway so I think you did me a favour. Even with 2 people the missions seemed fun, must be even more interesting if more people get involved.


Its good that you get cash even if you don't win however it makes the other game modes not as attractive as it seems its win or nothing in some of them.
 
Had a completely faultless night on here last night, I think Rockstar are finally getting somewhere with the server issues.
Got my 2nd character to level 13 and £131k.
Did some great missions with a few guys that were ranked a lot higher than me, In one of them we had to steal a Titan (Hercules/C130 style cargo plane) from airbase then delivery it to Sandy Shores Airfield = Netted $10k each for a few mins work.


Enjoyed last night.
 
One thing that I'm finding annoying (unless there's an easy work around?) is that when I'm playing with my friends, we just want to do co-op missions together. But we'll start one, then after it's done it goes to voting where it's all races and missions in 2 teams against eachother.

Anyone know how to just do co-op missions?

With the amount of times this error appears going out and coming back in turns every error appearance into a 5 minute load-fest if we follow Rockstars advice :eek:
 
^^I think that was how I lost my first Character on Saturday afternoon/evening tbh, Someone had said if you see the cloud error to hit RETRY a couple of times to reconnect.
I did, but still didn't connect so went back to solo and left it a while. Tried again later and connected straight away but all trace of my progress had gone (including on the GTAV ONLINE career section of the socialclub site).
 
For me, R* have gone about the online method horribly wrong.

It should have been available online on release day. Justifications for that are:

1) Not everyone received their copy at the same time so load would have been far less
2) Not everyone wants to play online immediately and would rather complete story mode first. The fact that loads of people had completed story mode before online became available meant that they were twiddling their thumbs waiting for online....

I agree with you Django, As you say I generally play solo first (on this type of game) for a few days to get familiar before venturing towards the multiplayer game.
The way they've done it most people have already finished the solo game so are keen to get stuck into online.

Yhe person hosting can select "GTA" race. This enables rockets, spanners and boosts to appear. When you collect a rocket, press in left analogue stick to fire. Prrss right analogie stick in first, then then left to fire behind.
 
I'm incredibly slow at completing the game not to mention my PS3 packing in and having to start again with the game I'm now nearly where I started at.

Just about to do the heist of the jewellers.

Still haven't seen trevor since the opening sequence when does he come in?

First large scale online game in this style so it is bound to have teething issues, I think it was a smart move by R* holding back the release of the online for a week or 2 as it gave them time to adjust anything in terms of infrastructure that was required before it went live, If it is bad now and they have had time to adjust how bad do you think it would have been if it went live straight away? They have got it up and running fairly quickly after release with some regular patching. People just need to chill.

I've made it to rank 15 now, just bought the cheapest flat with a 10 car garage. I just need to fill it with Ballers to sell now, to buy a super car :p

Might be a daft question but I'll ask it anyway: Do you have a property with a Heist planning room?
If so then I've no idea, afaik you just need one then you should be good to go.


Edit to clarify: you are talking about online aren't you?
