Either mute them via their profile or set your in-game options to friends and crew or just friends then you should only hear the people you want.
Wish there was an option to send picture to other players in game. I went to sell a Hummer at one of the spray shops and there was a guy waiting outside waiting for me to exit hoping to stick a sticky bomb to my car. Pistol whipped him in the FACE! Then stole his personalized car and drove off.
Stuck a sticky bomb on it and waited for him to come collect it back.

I have done that, I think it just does it during free-roam.... I just had to sit through some American kid telling everyone he was a rapper, and 'treating' us to a performance!
Also, my hair has disappeared
Are you waiting for it to go green and say "joined"
Add them as friends and ask them if they wanna do something, missions races or whatever.
You can join 5. but remember to select the one you want to show up on your profile.
There is an option to select just friends or friends & crew then you won't hear the randoms at all.
