So im correct in assuming that the less coils i have round my wick, the lower the ohms??

Correct, with 28awg you can do 10 wraps on a 1.5mm diameter coil to give 1.6ohms. Think its about 6 wraps on 32awg to get the same ohm.

PS. I'm talking about mircocoils.

Honestly no idea, it's the one that comes in the starter bundle from Vapemesh and all is says is 0.2 on the sticker that was on the side.

0.2 is 32 awg.

Lovely stuff smokedog, im using the 3mm ekowool at the moment so i guess going up to 6 wraps on that wont give me anything but a silly high ohm reading??.

Actually thinking when i first did my coil and wick earlier today, i did wrap at 6 coils and got 3.3 ohms and didnt work for me.

Think im going to have to trial and error my way around the wraps and ohm readings as 2.4 is just a bit too high, ideally i would like to get around 1.8ohms.

Sorry didn't make it clear, was referring to microcoils. For normals wraps you can only do 4/3 wraps to get 1.8ohms. But like i said earlier, use the twisted coil method. Then you can do 8 wraps with 32awg.

OH ****! Re-coiled my RSST this evening and it's all gone a bit Pete-Tong...pulsed on my ego, so no hot-spots, filled with juice, plonked on my SID @ 4Volts, checked again, whole coil went red so damn fast and then set fire...oops...tried at 3.5, same, 3V and it tastes funky...switched to Watts, nothing is going well on it...give up for tonight, will attempt again when I get home later today...I'd like to point out, I used 0.2 Kanthol and it came in at 1.3 Ohms...

Been there! Coil might be a bit loose on the wick, or else the wick isn't wicking that well.

What wick are you using?
Pulsing on the Ego doesn't seem as sensible as using the ohm-meter and greater protection built into the SID.
With 32 AWG (0.2mm) Kanthal, you can't have that many turns to get 1.3ohms - perhaps another turn will help? If you're looking for low-ohm vaping, you're going to need some lower resistance (30, 28AWG Kanthal) or twist what you already have (to halve the resistance).

When test-firing a coil for the first time (and only after first checking the resistance), you sohould keep the power fairly low. The easiest way to blow a coil (particularly with only a couple of turns) is to run too much power through it. I appreciate you "pulsed" it on the Ego - this wasn't enough to work through any minor shorts like pulsing on a higher powered, VW device allows.

TL;DR Add more turns to give the coil sufficient distance to heat up, or double the amount of wire and twist it to allow yourself more turns for half the resistance.

Guys can you recommend a good juice supplier that I can get all I need in one place. I have only used yorkshire fog so far but would like some monkey jizz and a couple of other highly rated ones.

thanks

Vaping King (Who you obviously know) are good, aside from Scoope and GVC they are my 'go to' supplier.

cuffylad is after an "one-stop-shop" for all his ejuice needs. No such vender exist "yet". Also I can see this could be difficult, as most of these guys make their juices to order.

All you need in one place? Will never happen I'm afraid, or maybe it will if you go to Vapefest or Vapecon. :D

There are so many juice makers that it's hard to keep up with what's hot and what's not.

Juice flavour is always subjective and the more you vape of one flavour (or even from eating particular foods) or one very strong flavour the more desensitized your taste buds will become.

It's not necessarily about what is highly rated, but more what suits you better, which comes down to trying flavours which can become quite costly.

For example I don't particularly like Scope's Juices whilst others love them but I love Snake Oil whilst others don't like it.

Have a look at this site for reviews

That's it guys, I'm going to buy some sour fizzy snakes, tots, babies. Essential when vaping on SO. :D

I got a 24mg 10ml bottle too and the flavour is more strong which I like, I normally vape 18.

Just to compare, Daddy Snake (100ml), Mommy Snake (50ml) and Baby Snake (10ml).

Yeah Think I misread his post initially, but VK is one of the better sellers that do have a decent range of flavours. If you only like them then you could class it as a 'one stop shop' But i agree, doubt you would ever see such a thing. Besides i like shopping around! :D

Speaking of shopping...... Kayfun Lite.

After messing with the RSST and finding that i do have a bit of patience to play with these things, I quite fancy one.... Might have to join the ranks.

It will be the best vaping money you ever spent. I've been using my solidly for 2 months. All the other attys I own is gathering dust.

+1 on the above, I used iclear 30's/protanks before and they were quite nice but after using a kayfun religiously for a month and left it at home today as I was halfway through recoiling it last night and waiting for the cotton to dry out and these other atomisers are HORRIBLE in comparison now :(
