*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Those The Order screenies look great. It looks like it could be a really atmospheric/eerie game. Hope it's good.

On booking time off work, I have booked a whole week off as of release date. Well, I did have 64 days leave at the turn of April this year :D

No support for Bluetooth headsets at launch on PlayStation 4 and other headsets will require a post-launch patch for compatibility.

That's according to the CVG website

Anyone on here got an ASDA pre-order?

I did one ages ago, just noticed on their site that they have some bundles up, but you can only buy them using the £20 pre-order code you originally paid for. Anyone received such a code yet?

Well my code just came through, so I've secured my Killzone bundle for launch with ASDA. Worked out £15 cheaper than Shopto anyway, plus I'd obviously already put £20 down.

Yep just done mine. Went for PS4 + watchdogs bundle with BF4 added on aswell. £386.30 for the lot, not too bad. Got to love discount

As for amazon selling BF4 for £40, yes it was down to that price at least TWICE and I had it pre-ordered myself. But ended up cheaper through asda.

Cool site that ps3udo I've not been there before. Why do the prices fluctuate like that with Amazon? Is it because they are reacting to other prices and always trying to be the lowest?

Yeah Amazon crawls a few major competitors and price matches them (I assume automatically as its pretty fast and fluid), what it considers competitors I guess depends on the item in question I guess with games its the usual high street retailers and supermarkets.

That sites a useful tool though never use it in hindsight :p

Alright it was £42 twice :D
Yeah I kinda wished I had paid more attention to early preorders once the placeholder prices disappeared as there were a few nice prices out there but they changed so quickly. Just wanted to know more about the games before deciding what to get and what will last me to the next wave...

Hell I guess (perhaps naively) an official bundle must mean they think the bundled game is a good indication of what to expect

If anyone sees a cheap preorder price for Infamous please post it! Ill be ever thankful :D

Just waiting for Tesco to get these back in for pre-order then I will be all over it. Not to bothered about release day but before/shortly after Christmas would be nice.

They BEST release 'Deep Down' in the EU!!! I will cry if it is only a Japanese launch.

They will release it in the west, it was premiered at E3 was it not? Although that was just a trailer and no gameplay.

I kind of agree. The only thing bothering me about it is the current RRP of £49.99. So yes the bundle effectively gives you the game for £39.99. My feeling is that the games are eventually going to be £39.99 at retail anyway, just like now.

That's my feeling too so I've opted to stick with the solus PS4 pack. That and I'm not quite sure which games to go for yet and don't want to risk spending £40-50 pre-ordering a game that might be rubbish!

The consoles themselves will likely sell out during the launch window but I can't see there being any problems getting stock of games themselves. Especially now that they're also available as downloads in some instances. Plus our launch is a week after the US one so at least we'll have the consolation and hindsight of being able to check out the reviews before buying anything!
