GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

Got over 240k now and I was doing a mission where you and other players need to steal patriots and deliver them. You are places into 4 teams of 4 and only 5 patriots. Everyone died at least 6 times, I got twice as many kills than deaths.

Ended up making nothing from the mission but lost over 20k in death taxes.

This has now made me rethink my gta strategy.

I'm going to make a second fun psn account where I can just go round killing everything in sight with no consequences.

Will leave the main gta account for making money and playing by myself until I buy the 400k apartment.

This is probably the best way to enjoy the game.

Im not saying that the whole point is not kill players, but killing the same player over and over past the ticket rate can be seen as bad sport, cause your'e not giving the other player a chance. but dont take my word as gospel.

Or they could let the player decide for themselves if they were ok with it and let the player call Lester and place a bounty on them if they weren't

Either or a forgive option that gets presented to the player so it doesn't count if your messing around with friends who are up for it on mics.

Your money is the same across characters.

Create a new character and his bank balance will be the same as for your old character. I have about 290k in the bank now. It shows as 290k for my corrupted character too.

Have you seen this?

Searching around about it so many people aren't happy about it. The main complaint seems to be that you can't play with friends either during this time so effectively means during the time the game is worthless. If they just removed that feature I think a lot of complaints would go away.

Edit: I couldn't see it in game, does anyone know if the number of warnings you have had is listed anywhere or how long the warnings last? It is another annoying thing about IMO, seems R* have release so little info that no one quite knows what is going on.

Whose on tonight ? Just waiting for my Indian, everything else is sorted out the way so once the food is ploughed through I'll be on & up for some action. :D

I'm "Online" atm but not doing anything on the game as I'm just have some dinner, will be on all evening.

That $500k from Rockstar is jolly decent of them isn't it
 
This money sounds cool. Hopefully it makes them realise that selling money and balancing the game around that is a bad idea.

If they want to make money they should just sell unique items, cars, clothes modifications, temp stat boosts and things like that. But then again with you not being sure your data is safe who would use real money to buy them?
 
very mixed experience so far, some laggy ass races, a fun 4man deathmatch though, would love a large team one
