GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

Fair enough mate, but with heists coming soon, new cities planned for future DLC, several brand new cars added to the internet car stores as 'out of stock/coming soon' it'd suck if you got banned.

It's a shame that Rockstar went with micro transactions for in game money because otherwise they probably wouldn't care. There is a ton of money to be made from some of the DLC they have in the works for online. Makes you wonder if anyone's actually bought in game cash yet.

A few 1000 did before they took it offline on day 2.

Unlikely for a ban because in Red Dead Redemption there was a glitch to boost XP and they didn't care less.

They didn't sell cashcards in red dead redemption. Also having XP boost gives nowhere near the same advantage of cheating to gain millions of dollars to buy whatever you want for your level.

My issue wasn't with you cheating anyway that's up to you, there was no need to lie about it though and lead people to believe it could be done through selling a normal car every 48 minutes. Honesty goes a long way.

It does because in RDR at higher levels you unlocked a lot of stuff that gave you serious advantages.

Anyway don't really want to argue about it any more. I choose to glitch, so what ever the consequences are, it was a choice I made. It's a game, no real need for judgemental comments. In a matter of fact it's Grand Theft Auto, where being a bad guy is a point of the game :)

I wonder what the rewards will be for heists? I can't image they will be that much given R*s desire to get everyone buying cash cards.

I'm going to be quite annoyed if I wait all this time for heists to the discover they are only worth $10k or something stupid.

I denied it as you assumed everyone with high level/lots of money was 'cheating'.

I actually earned my first $400k apartment and $200k cash beforehand legitimately, which is why your original statement annoyed me.

Justify it by whatever means you want but at the end of the day you are being judged for lying to us mainly, not the fact you're a cheater.

No I assumed everyone with million pound plus garages were cheating. I checked your social club page from the original moment I seen your 400k apartment comment and realised you were glitching then. Instead of blaming you outright though I thought I'd ask how you did it ;)

They spawn there before you reach that level, my brother and myself steal them from here on a regular basis and fly them into things...and people as well as using them for missions or escaping the police, I am rank 28 and he is around rank 32

Hit 34 this morning bro. Can confirm they spawn here from the get go. The only issue is, is that they aren't frequently there due to the fact that they get flown about by NPCs. IF you've got the patience, you can wait it out. they'll land after a while for about 5 seconds or so max then fly off again, so as soon as you see one coming down to land, get ready under the chopper in order to take it.

Calling it glitching doesn't change the fact that it is Cheating. As so many things are monitored in the game it should be quite easy for R* to spot them & stop them.
Think it's also pretty obvious to spot the people that have put the time in & earned there money legit.
I've never cheated on any game & I'm not about to start now just to buy a few cars in an online game.

Agreed, I am too scared of glitching incase they ban me as while it would good to have lots of ingame money to spend I would hate to loose everything I have done legitimately. I openly admit that I RT'ed grinded missions to earn money in the beginning but never glitched for it and I am proud of the money I have earned and the property I have. I would be proud of the cars too but considering I stole them all not really something I worked for lol.

Now they have removed the instant replay option I wonder what the highest $ per hour you could earn. Roughly working it out in my current game time I have made $27k per hour but I think if you really tried you could get it higher than that.

You can make 50k+ an hour in survival easily.

Well I tend to go on mess about then do a few races & missions & come out a couple of hours late with maybe 25k. I am enjoying the whole game though not just grinding for cash. Seeings as we are going to get 500k anyway I thought I'd take the time to do all the other activities & generally mess about.

you can make 100k an hour doing high level missions with your friends, all legit. If anybody in the OcUK crew on Xbox wants to join us for 25k base invader fun, just give me, Greboth, Rufus, Ash etc.. a shout and we'll get you in.

Racing is still the best money, especially short ones. There's a bicycle race that lasts like 1 minute with a max of 4 players, the winner gets around the 6-8k mark. That's several hundred thousand an hour including loading screens. We earn about 300k a night just by doing loads of different races, it's probably the most fun you can have as well which is nice. 16 players on Route 66 is like... worlds can't even explain. :p

Everytime I have joined your party you too many people for missions :p but if you ever have room I will always join :)

Who's on tonight?, good laugh yesterday!

Yup, should be around from about 7:30/8. Determined to watch last weeks SoA before I start playing as I never get off GTA early enough to watch it lol.

I have skipped the bike races as sounded boring but might give it a go. The races are a pretty easy way to make money as they require no money spent on ammo or armor.

Racing is fun as well, did one called the grand tour I think earlier and luckily won, was 2nd all race and the guy who was 1st went head on into a car that appeared out of nowhere in the last corner. I felt a bit sorry for him till he started raging down the mic and I realised he was some yank kid.

Quite a long race and won a fair chunk of cash.
