Google blocked by school

have you actually spoken to them? chances are its been done in error, or is temporary while another issue is resolved.
 
If you can access a website via its IP address and not the host name it points to DNS issues. As neil_g says its probably part of a larger ongoing issue. IT Departments aren't known for their communication skills, in my experience anyway (My experience comes from being in IT for 15 years).

well the earls of tyrone, tyrconnell and many others fled to europe for fear of being imprisoned or killed by James I. This left the vast majority of ulster unclaimed. This all led the King's interest in Ulster in which he and his privy council wanted to claim ulster and kick the Irish out. They carried out a servey to find out how much land their was and sold off plots for 1000, 1500 and 2000 acres however they hadn't measured this and so Planters bought plots of 1000 acres and actually received over 20,000.

ha true (likewise 15 years) :D

ive been known to issue a blanket lockdown while an issue was addressed (normally security related)

The funny thing is that it doesn't say adult material... it says it's "Temporarily Unavailable"

Did it years ago and never found it blocked on any company network. Just keep the address to yourself and it should never get blocked. Just set up another if it does

only thing is with that proxy is it has the url i'm accessing after it, which is a problem, but might aswell give it a go and see what happens, will get back to yous when i've been suspended :D :D :D :D

An interesting technique used to bypass this is to have the proxy send textual content as visual data instead, such that commonly filtered words are converted by the proxy into jpg images and a reference inserted into the html.
