If you are selling the game on, or planning to do so at some point in the future, then yes ofcourse it needs to be done (though personally would leave it until I was going to sell it.) Though if your like me and you rarely sell games on and you can get it working from an install why would you get the disc repaired?

As far as Im aware none of the shops in Belfast have the service to skim the discs, wonder if I have to send it off.

I have only had one disc get scratched and the dashboard recognised it and would play it but crash loading the game which an install solved but if your dash isn't recognising it you might be screwed.

Yet again Bad Sport, was being harassed by a couple of people because I had a $9k bounty, which is completely acceptable, so I went and got a Buzzard and blew them both up in their cars, which should also be completely acceptable in GTA, so I'm now a bad sport for 4 full days. Game is going in the bin, that's not right to be banned from friends games for 4 days.

You picked out one tiny bit of my post and picked on it, for some ridiculous reason. Obviously bad sport wouldn't affect you, having no friends to play with, but for some of us it's a pain in the ****. Do you agree that 4 days ban is right? If you do you're a tool.

You knew what happened last time, you get warnings about it when you do something counted as a bad sport and if you stop being a bad sport they get wiped as you start receiving good sport bonuses again so you were obviously doing other things that counted as a bad sport not just blowing up 2 cars. While I agree that the blowing up of someones car should not be treated as being a bad sport and the whole bad sport thing while good in its theory is terrible in practice. Regardless of the whether you agree with the rules or not you knew the outcome if you blew up their cars yet did it anyway so confused by your anger towards the bad sport ban.
