I have to agree that Gerrard did not have a good game overall, however, he scored so it doesn't matter in the least.

Disagree. He hasn't really contributed much to the game as we usually expect him to do. Gave away free kicks, missed a lousy shot and generally not played imo.

He sprayed the ball about, tackled well especially in the first half and was a threat from set pieces. He missed a shot from well outside the box can't see how you could hold that against him.
