*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

I have a couple of questions guys firstly I've started using boat browser because of the flash player and everything is good apart from the fact forums like this keep logging me out and it won't ask to save my password either I also have remember me clicked on but still no luck.. Any ideas??
Next question is, is there a setting or app where I can make my phone silent at certain times of the day like work and then vibrate another time life when I finish?

AutomateIt can control profiles based on time rules :)

Something is up with my battery, it's draining very quickly. Less than 4 hours and it's on 18% with 1hr45mins screen time. I have been using work's WiFi but done that in the past with no problems. Sync is off, power saving on. Watched about 30 minutes of shows and listened to music for under two hours. Normally I can get 12-24 hours with 5 hours of screen time.

Before checking wakelocks and whatnot, take a quick look at the serial number of your battery, if it begins with "BD" it may be faulty.

If not, then install Batterystatsplus (better battery stats) and GSam and see what's keeping the phone awake and whatnot.

S/N begins with AA. Just installing BSP now.

Also just looked at Tasker and that's so confusing.. I also can't work out how to get it to silent my phone at certain times And days it only gives me the option to do it on the day or at a time not combined?

downloaded this but how do i set a end time to the "rules" for instance i work at 8am and want it to be silent until i finish 4pm? i cant seem to find a option to when it will stop.

Easiest way is just to set a second rule to turn the phone back to normal mode at the time you want.

TRIM Support (Makes the device much faster)

What do you mean by this? Isn't TRIM something to do with SSD/NAND? Will it mean faster transfer speeds? They are painfully slow at times.

Hopefully Omega will release one soon, I do not want KNOX or it's bootloader.

Hello Omega friends,
final 4.3 I9505XXUEMJ5 firmware released
I am downloading now. Let see what this will brings us.
Expect a new Omega asap.

:D:D

Yep it's run against the NAND, but won't effect transfer speeds to the device I don't think it's more to do with slow downs in things being read and written within the device.

Something is definitely wrong regarding my battery. It's dropped over 10% in 30 minutes, just listening to just music and the screen barely used. Another 3-4% since I got in this train 5 minutes ago and started using it to browse OcUK and make this post. Furthermore the phone has been unusually hot today. I think it's the CPU. When I check LMT launcher (check my post at the top of this page) it seems to report quite high frequencies including 1.9Ghz fairly often (last three checks have been 1.4, 1.2 and 1.2). Sounds like the CPU is working overtime when it shouldn't be.

CPU -Z is reporting loads of between 70-100% with just that app open and music playingiin the background. Battery temp is 37C.

An app called UsageTimelines will tell you what apps are using the CPU at that time, can be useful to see which process is being a hog.

Then Batterystatsplus, and GSam can be used to see what's been draining the phone over the course of the day. Should be able to narrow it down with those :).

Anyone know why my mobile data most of the time sits on G yet last week same location I was getting H+ the odd thing is when I goto mobile date and select wcdms only (or whatever its called) instead of wcdms /gsm im getting H+.. Confused.

which network are you on?

I'm not sure if it selects on demand, mine just seems to switch between G and H+ based only on location but that said, signal in one place doesn't necessarily stay the same due to network congestion and weather etc etc.
