Hmm. Might give it a miss, then. I do like to see if I'm running low but wouldn't entertain anything other than pyrex these days.

I know what you mean. I like to be able to see the juice (metal no good) and add any juice and know it will not react (polycrab) I have broke a few pyrex tanks in my time. Dropped a protank on holiday hit a marble floor and smashed.

There used to be a site in the US that made pyrex replacement tanks. I'm sure it will still be able (can't remember the name sorry) or maybe even someone closer now (or even fasttech?)

Pyrex Tank from the new Aga T3 is same dimensions as the one in the Chayfun 3.1...
I've mixed & matched the topcaps from my AGA-T2 and TD - so I now have an Atty with dual SS mesh wicks with a usable filling hole, 3.5ml capacity, but a reduced volume chamber, air holes at 4 points and the design matches my Private v2 with Kick.
I'll take photos later, but the draw, taste, warmth and cloud production is incredible!

£21 yes, but counterfeit. Like buying fake Hugo Boss jeans down your local market for £10 each.

Except it's not. These things are very basic pieces of metal that fire a coil. They will be near as dammit. Every clone of mod I have hits hard.

What I don't like is how they've quite clearly put SvoeMesto's name on it.

Same with the Nemesis clone, they shouldn't have put the makers name on it.

DT's arrived today, teflon/pfte is so much more comfortable on the lips than glass or stainless steel. Really love these.

I'm now running a 'Navy Nest' Coil with my Kayfun Lite. Managed to wrap a 1.3 ohms coil, it vapes really well, it's incredibly smooth and tastes fantastic. :)

Same here, but at 1.6, its a great wick for the KFL. :)

I'm actually using this one at the mo...

Finally got the double strand coil and wick done first time as it usually takes me a few goes but i never seem to get it right.

But tonight after fixing up and polishing my KFL that was damaged in my rage attack the other night, i coiled it at 1.7 ohms with some silica, put it all together and wham bam thank you ma'am, it works. Vaping some scopes raspberry at the moment and it tastes divine, got some gurgling but honestly im not going to mess about with it, just gonna vape it till it runs dry then clean it out and re-do it again.

I think my problem originally with the burnt taste was that i was laying the wicks on the deck but must have been blocking the juice channels. Thanks to smokedog who posted a pic up of how to lay the wicks on the deck, i followed that and voila it works.

Phewwww, finally nailed it tonight so im a happy bunny, my missus is happy and all is well with the world:D

@ Yas, there is 97ml of GVC @18mg for sale on AAEC if you are still trying to get hold of some, cant remember if this is your strength though lol.

Cheers mate but sadly cant access it as i imagine i have to join up and im already a memeber of a few forums lol.

Tbh im kinda off GVC now as im using kings custard which to me is slightly better imho. So ill probably finish off the last of my GVC then replace it with kings custard which is divine.

Nevermind, found the thread over at UK Vapers so have added my name to the list.

I would try it but seems a pain as you have to rebuild the whole coil when you change wicks.

My microcoils last over a month, just swap out the cotton every 2/3 days.

Plus... My god this guy is dull, most of his wicking videos are 30mins long.

Glad its all working. To get rid of the gurgling just hold KFL upside down and blow through the drip tip. If you still get gurgling after clearing the airhole your extra wicks are too close to the coil. So either push it down a little or move them always from the coil.

Yep thanks to your pic from a few pages back smoke, i got it working...huge relief now that i know how to lay the wicks on the deck.

The gurgling has stopped now, just a little bit but honestly i can live with that as i dont want to take it apart until i vape it dry lol.

Firstly apologies for not reading the whole thread to date, must admit its moving fast and has got away from me...

Looking for quick tips for the RSST, i have got it working well, just wondering if it can be better..

1) ss wick, how tight to roll it to max the wicking? so far i have tried tight and loose without a definite winner?

2) what grade of mesh is best, using 400 atm also what does higher / lower grade mean in terms of wicking ability and juice type?

3) atm i am using kanthal D ribbon wire, with 5 wraps to get 1.3-1.5ohm is this ideal?

4) where can i source replacement tanks for the RSST, glass or juice safe material?

Any other tips for RSSTs?

Ps. I have already drilled out to 2.0mm hole, seem to be spot on for me, i like easy / airy draw

thanks
