Laptop HDD in a Gaming PC?

Just wondering if i could use my Laptop HDD inside my new gaming pc? (extreme budget)

Power differences variables?

Speed affected? (7.2k rpm)

I knocked up a couple of basic setups recently and have used 2.5" drives just fine.
You wont notice any real difference TBH

2.5" drives will work fine in a PC, but there is going to be a speed sacrifice.

run atto benchmark and see,doesnt matter what speed/size the hdd is,only way to judge it is benchmark it

anything around the 100mb per sec mark for an empty mechanical drive is decent imo

I've tried 7,200 rpm 2.5" drives and they don't feel as fast as 3.5" drives. They feel gutless in a desktop.
