Is there such a tool that can queue files to move from 1 HDD to another HDD one at a time?
Also if possible, but not too bothered, that it can shutdown the PC once file transfers are complete?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks :)

Also, thoughts on a WD Caviar Red 3TB vs a WD Caviar Green 3TB ?
Write speed won't matter if I can find a tool to queue file transfers and leave the transfers going overnight.

What do you mean by queueing files? Do you want something that you can, for example, mark files over the course of the day and then copy to the other disk later?

Nah, just so I can transfer, say, 10 large files (30gb each) to a HDD, with them going 1 at a time, instead of 10 at a time. (Which I assume would be faster?). And perhaps something that will shut down my PC at the end of those transfers too.

Select them all at once and copy across?
(Think search function if they're in different folders and you don't want to move them all together)

Unless using Windows 8, I've found Teracopy runs a lot faster. It also very accurately predicts when the copy job will finish. Unlike windows which may say 10 mins, then after 5 mins it's been bumped to 45 mins.

If you copy one file and start another copy, both will run at the sametime, whereas teracopy will wait for the first to finish. I think it also has the shutdown when complete option
