The Apple HE store - Full prices and details in here. *prices correct as of 15/06/10*

As a part-time student of the University of London studying a distance course, could I still legitimately use these links to order with HE prices?

As I live in a different country at the moment, using the universities internet from campus is not an option :)

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Yes, just try them till you find one that works.

I'm currently a member of staff at a college.. And I'm tempted to use the. HE discount to get some new gear whilst I can. The issue is that I can't really afford to get it a the moment with relocating for a new job and all (even thou the new job is with a company associated with a university) but I hate paying intrest on stuff. It's just a shame that there's no buy now pay in 3 months time or even a 1 year payment package as those are better suited for me. I could do with a new iMac and mbp thou and may have to consider cashing my isa.. :/

New Macbook pro prices.

Nice drop in prices, no idea which model to get thou, torn between the middle 13" model and the base 15". 13" would be great for portability but 15" has a quad-core CPU that will come in handy as I convert a lot of video.

You can get the same discounts via a NUS card anyway, so if its not listed I wouldnt worry too much.

Looking for a bit of advice on best way to order via the HE store. My girlfriend is currently a university student however her school is not listed on the HE store dropdown list.

She's going to apply for an NUS card, so what would be the best way for her to order something from Apple and still obtain the 3 year warranty?

I'm not a student so have no idea how the HE store works.....

I think this may have been asked before but I can't seem to find it now

My friend is a university student so is going to use the university discount to get his new macbook. However his father owns his own business, and he is employed by this company.

Is there any way he can purchase through the company, and also get the university discount?

Technically no, but you can do it. To be honest it's more important to satisfy the tax side of things (i.e. claiming the VAT back). As long as he legitimately uses it for the business.

well my cousin has gone back to uni and will be buying it for me - im assuming he will have to pay for it and i wont be able to use my card? Im getting the rMBP 15". Will i still be able to use the apple care even if he 'sells' the rMBP it to me?

This is my first Mac by the way :)
