Glad I posted that now :)

Was getting ready for the club ride this morning but saw my groupset was out for delivery and with the worst courier company so decided to hang on. Glad I did as I would have left at 9am and courier showed up at 9:11 :)

At the price I paid I expected it to be OEM was pleasantly surprised to see it's a retail groupset. No club ride so guess I'll start stripping/rebuilding the Ti this weekend :D

Well my £35 one has been sent, managed to find the 20% off, so if anybody is in the local area to me and wants to buy one for £35 let me know and I won't return it.

The weather infuriates me.

I don't know how to dress for 12-14C, heavy rain and strong winds.

I can dress like a scuba diver and run the risk of it not being that wet and so I'll boil or I dress too lightly and end up soaking with hypothermia if I get a puncture again.

I'd go with a base layer and a long sleeve top with my Gore windproof/shower proof gilet over the top. But i'd stash my rainjacket in a back pocket. Then if it gets to warm i can stash the gilet as well as it packs up small, but if it gets really wet i can stash the gilet and put on the rain jacket.

Im wearing merino baselayer, rapha club jersey, merino arm warmers, bibs, and ill be using that new jacket in a back pocket.

if its really cold i've got cheap baselayer leggins to go over my bibs and a pretty cheap softshell jacket, but the jacket does make me sweaty

Are you doing the St Crispin's Day Night ride too?

Base layer, summer top, bib shorts with knee warmers and proper breathable rain jacket - then just sweat it out!

yeah i was in london for a placement year, been offered a job to return when i graduate though so not long to go till im back!

Went out shopping by bike this morning and just rolled back in as the rain started to come down. It was the final motivation I needed to whip my Brooks off and give it a wax for winter protection. Slathered the underside with Dubbin and gave the top a thin coat. Hopefully it'll be ready for a buff up tomorrow ready to use again on Monday.
