Lol, Spenty and his pink Bugatti. Being chased by another car up a steep hill, as we get to top he shoots the back tire out and we go flying off the edge. Perfect timing.
 
In the end, I bought the tank + attack chopper :D

Lester/Heist Questions again!!!

Couple of more questions about the heists and Lester:-

I've just cased the docks and took pictures of the Merryweather freighter. Went back to the condo and Trevor rips down Debra's picture and starts planning a 'heist', I'm then asked to choose which tactics to use. Now, this isn't a heist that I'm not supposed to do at this stage is it, as in one of the ones connected to Lester?

Also, I got a text from Lester previous to casing the docks/port and he asked me to get in touch. His icon is now on my map, I take it that is the icon I shouldn't go anywhere near to trigger cut scenes with Lester and start these heists I keep hearing everyone say that you should leave until the end? His location marker that I'm talking about is shown arrowed:-

Its the assassination missions you leave till last not Heists.

You have to do the heist to progress the story.
 
It is only the assassination missions you want to leave until the end which is what that green L is. However you do have to do the first assassination mission eventually as the story wont progress until you have. I think the green L in that location is the first assassination missions isn't it? if it is, it should be the hotel assassination.
 
Yes, that is the first assassination mission. You can't leave it until the end because you need to do it to progress the story, but still leave it until that's the only mission available simply because you'll have more money to trade.
 
Awesome, cheers guys. So keep away from the assasination missions and just do the heists? Who gives you the heists? Lester? Or do they just appear from other sources as the story progresses like the one I described above with Trevor and Wade?
 
Various sources, but heists are always done from Michael so it'll be a blue L if you ever need to meet him (can't remember), whereas the assassinations are always Franklin's so they're green.
 
Thanks. Onwards and upwards!!. With all three of them back in LS, I'm kinda missing the backwoods of the north, going to have Trevor take a drive back up there for a while tonight.

Also, regarding the freighter:-

Best way to accomplish the mission? Offshore with the Cargobob or at the port/docks?
 
I'm still confused by the save game system on this. Tonight I drove all the way from Los Santos to Trevors house in the North, saved my game in his house then drove to the airfield and did two arms drop missions. Upon completing the second arms drop mission I left the airfield and had a run in with the cops which resulted in me getting wasted. As soon as the game restarted I went into the menu and had a look for my saved game at Trevors house. Nothing. Not there. The last save game I had on the hard drive was a 33.4% complete one at 23:18 tonight just after I had......
returned to the condo after getting the mini sub for the coming heist.
So I figured that would be the one to load which would put Trevor back at his place in the North.

Nope, loaded it and I'm all the way back in LS at the condo again.

WTF? :mad:
 
I'm stuck, I've completed the last mission and I've been tidying up with the side missions I had left to do for each character, but Franklyn still has 1 left but the only green icon on the map is his garage. Any way to find out what is left?

Goto your R* social club page.There's a check list option,shows what side missions you've done/not done.

I tend to quick save using the phone most of the time, it remembers exactly where you are and what vehicle you're in so it's the easiest thing.

thats funny I was going to ask the same thing , I have a 1 next to Franklin and there is nothing on the map left to do.
