If there isn't a file there it means the game hasn't linked the license again since installing it on Windows 8. Don't think there's a fix yet if that's the case.

You have to activate the game to do this you have to start the single player using the VPN,after that you can go back to dcing the vpn on the battle log page.

Strange, can't see any files in there even with it set to show hidden folders..

I despise land slide wins

Why can't these games be balanced properly....

vehicle weapon cool down is just plain DUMB.

Real lame and thick way of trying to place a balance on vehicles which is the thinking of a school kid.

Skill levels just vary sometimes, or whether one team actually works together. Auto balance I find doesn't do much anyway apart from annoy me when I can't join my mates side.

Can anyone answer these questions:

1. I've read that W8.1 performance is superior to W7 performance in this game, due to W8.1 having DX11.1 or whatever, but will that advantage be eliminated when Mantle comes out? I.e. because Mantle 'bypasses' DX altogether.

2. Like a lot of people I have BF3 set up to run with Afterburner at 59FPS with V-sync on and that seems to eliminate all lag (see this thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1246149/bf3-possible-vsync-trick-no-input-lag-frame-sync-no-tearing). But I've heard that Afterburner doesn't work with BF4, so has anyone found a way to get an entirely lag free experience with any other software/hacks? I ask because the Beta felt laggy to me.

Played a couple of games last night on SAS Beer Drinkers and my squad mostly stayed together and went after objectives and it makes a world of difference to how enjoyable the game is.

Can't believe how much better than the beta this runs, I was praying for an extra 5-10fps and got 30-40fps more.
