Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Is there an OCuK voice comms flying about? none of my friends seem to be picking the game up at the present moment apart from me

I'm still in testing, but so far so good. I'm on Wind 8.1 with a GTX660 (non ti).

My crash would happen randomly, getting great FPS then boom, crash to desktop with the hung message (though not full desktop, task manager able to open and then switch application to see the error).

Be interesting to see if this helps you. I'm nearly tempted to buy an AMD card.

I am currently trying to find out how to fix for my HD7970. So far I have used custom settings and all set to Ultra with one of the antialias off, and V-sync to off. Been fine so far with these. Will tweak others later to see what the final cause is for me.

Hopefully I'll be able to unlock the M249 fairly swiftly!!!

Currently just gutted that I'm in the middle of decorating and my PC is all unplugged and packed away so I can't even download let alone play yet!!! :(

Mmmm, just had a few games and reg was great. They were 32 man servers so I'm thinking I will stay away from the large maps for a while.
 
Anyone with the team-sf.com clan? They seem a it "on top" with their rules like you gotta play alomst everyday to be in the clan. I was playing with the SAS Clan last night they seem more like the kind of people I'd want to play with. They don't seem to take the game as serious but still play well together.

"Almost everyday" Probably just students and saddos :D

To be fair back when I was 17/18 I was playing Counterstrike whenever possible. Couldn't do it nowadays. I've had BF4 unlocked for 3 days and only managed about an hour of multiplayer so far :(
 
some admins are **** some arnt just best avoiding servers and not even argue with the power hungry ones :D

the old so you know im a admin or you really want to argue with me blah blah .

i generally just go on random servers until i find something i like. if the clan or group that own the server team stack i generally dont play it as you know 110 percent most often there will be issues.

10 clan on one side spawn raping people mention this then kicked thats most clan servers :p
 
Any more rage incidents due to DICE? so funny reading about broken keyboards, punched monitors and domino effects a 3 monitor setup when one gets smacked in rage.
I'm hating this game already and I haven't even played it yet
 
The poor hitreg we have experienced over the previous few days may be a symptom of the laggy juddery servers so it may be resolved with the updates being performed today.

The graphics with everything turned up are absolutely beautiful. Just need the crashes to stop.........
 
So in terms of gameplay is it any different from BF3?

Maps seem so much smaller, i pretty much got boored with BF3 are a couple of months due to the technical problems i.e. BF.EXE stopped working.

Dg you have just hit the nail on the head for one of my despised aspects of BF.

Sometimes I can join 4 - 5 servers before finding one where the admin is doing their job.

Why dice can't bring in a decent system of auto team balancing for servers where there is admin present is also beyond me.

It's the power hungry youth of today mate. Gone are the days of 10 years ago when we knew how to admin a server properly and understand what needs to be done to make one popular.
