*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Yeah the only one I can imagine is if the TV isn't available but that wouldn't be a problem for me.

I still think it's a little bit niche to justify a Vita for it :p
Yeah, it's perhaps not enough to justify a Vita on its own, but if you already own one it's certainly a very nice feature.

I still expect it to work out of the home via the internet, just not over 3g.

So for example I could go to a friends house with a Vita and load up my PS4 game there while connected to his Wifi. That's always what i thought the idea was anyway.

But now they're saying even that likely won't work.

Ok to pass the time until ps4 is out I have decided to play my girls Lego games. Give her my xbox and took her ps3 since mine broke. Lord if the rings up first

I can't believe that the PS4 won't support CD's or the MP3 format.

Oh well, I'm keeping my PS3 anyway so whatever.

I was planning to use netfix which I've now since found out will work, never used audio cd playback on any PlayStation, tried the dlna on ps3 but soon scrapped it in favor of android smart sticks, and now Samsung plex media server.

Bit shocked about MP3 playback, never really used this on PlayStation either but some might miss that, that'll be added at a later date I suspect.

But seems ps4 does have 1080p games which is more what I'm after so not all bad I guess.

i hope they add DLNA sooner rather than later. My ps3 has been on the fritz for ages and i was hoping throw it in the cupboard when the ps4 came out lol.

I don't understand why people are crying over this MP3 business, I've heard people saying they're going to cancel their preorder because of it lol.

It'll probably be added at some point. Besides is everyone binning their PS3 after their shiney new PS4 arrives? If so send it my way :D.
