You need Sonos ;)

ps3ud0

Haven't seen these before. Guess I'll give them a look and see how good they are.

Still means extra money like so hopefully they confirm that it will be patched after launch in the not too distant future.

But hell if this Sonos is really good I could just get it anyway. lol

Thinking of picking up a decent 5.1 surround sound, was wondering if a decent headset would do the job at less expense and space?

Really like the look of Q-Acoustics 2000i range with a decent amp...

C'mon Sony, fix it fix it!

Not too bothered if PS4 loses some media features, tbh. Used to use mine for movie streaming etc., but nowadays the TV itself handles all such shenanigans.
If concentrating on gaming makes the machine that little bit 'better', then I am all for it - let's face it, there are so many ways, cheap as well, to get your DLNA fix these days, which were much more prohibitively expensive and/or complicated when PS3 hit.

Killzone is probably the best looking title on the next gen consoles at release so it will be good to show off the new hardware. I love the Killzone games so it was a must have title for me.

I'm actually looking forward to playing the F2P "Warframe", it just seems suited to the console and it looked really good from what I saw at Eurogamer.

I'm pleased I booked some time of work for the release I just wouldn't get the time to play it all if I didn't.

To be honest im a big PC gamer, so although the graphics do look good for a console, i would still say they are not that great to what can be had on pc.

I have not played any of the other killzone games, and i am buying the console mainly for adventure games, horror driving etc type games, FPS i tend to stick to pc for, although i did really like zombiu for the wii u, but again would have preferred to play it on the pc.

Some strange omissions by Sony on the media front, but it won't affect me as I stream via other methods, and consoles never have, and probably never will, be totally suitable anyway.

I noticed in the official FAQ that charging controllers while the PS4 is in standby requires some settings in the power savings menu to be adjusted for EU users. I'm sure this will catch a few folk out.

Good ol' EU forcing everything to have eco modes by default, what would they do without them there to police our every move?

Tannoy HTS-101 bro ;) - Got a set to match my Yamaha RX-V671 which I picked up from mm here for £180 lol.

For all those complaining about the lack of media streaming - surely a £30 dedicated streamer isn't going to break the bank when your already dishing out 350+ for a PS4!! - And it'll do a better job!

Anyways - I've been playing Lego Marvel Super Heroes on the Xbox 360 - it looks to me like they've nerfed it on purpose so the next gen version will look slightly better. Having played Lego batman 2 I know the xbox 360 is easily capable of handling the 'Lego environment' at 720p res - Lego Marvel however looks poor in comparison - alomost like a non-HD version.

Secret ploy to push the next gen version as better quality? hmmmmm..... ;)

Such a shame that it doesn't support media streaming. Can't believe Sony have done this. I use a projector so can't rely on a smart TV for media streaming functionality. I also don't want yet another device set up solely for the purposes of streaming media. The PS3 does a very good job with this when used in conjunction with something like PS3 Media Server. Might have to cancel my pre order now sadly.

And no way of saving gaming footage to YouTube? That is a huge issue right there. I don't want to share to Facebook.

The PS3 is epic for media capabilities and I use mine all the time for it, pretty much Bought it for that reason. Seems a shame to go a step backwards.

I don't know if it's been posted but Mark Rubin confirmed;

Hey, been on the road last couple weeks so haven’t had a chance to update, but wanted to confirm that for Xbox One we’re 1080p upscaled from 720p. And, we’re native 1080p on PS4. We optimized each console to hit 60 FPS and the game looks great on both. Still on the road, but glad to see the great reception to Extinction. Can’t wait for next week's launch.

Source.

You might have to do some mods that's a 3.5" drive. PS4 needs a 2.5" drive with a max height of 9mm.

I take it most SSD drives meet this requirement?

I'm tempted to pick up a 1TB SamSung SSD for my PS4, how does it copy the operating system over? #stupidquestion

It will just setup the HDD and prepare it when it detects a new drive like the PS3 does I would imagine, there will be little user input other than waiting for the process to complete.
