Windows 8.1 - !!WARNING!! - Defrags SSD drives by default

Well I'm glad that it's not affecting mine if this is indeed a problem.
I haven't seen it in win8 which I had used from day of release on this SSD and now win8.1 since the rtm came out. My SSD's health is still at 100%

Yes. In my case, the same misleading log appears in event viewer after scheduled maintenance has taken place.

some people are saying it's just a typeo in the event viewer but why when the maintenance starts you can see it defreging the SSD in the Optimizer program

How do I run this maintenance manually, Task Scheduler has got so many entries its so hard to find anything in there?

That brings up the Optimise Drives window.

I have 2 ssd there and a normal drive, on ssd drives all I can do is select Optimise which runs the trimm command, the Analyse is grayed out.

On the normal drive I can run both.

Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center

start maintenance is in there.

it only seems to happens when you haven't manually Optimised the SSD for afew weeks.
