Another terror suspect outwits police by wearing burkha

Burkha`s should be banned end of!!! Dont care its wrong !!

How far would you think I would get wearing a balaclava!!!

I hate them I make no room or eye contact and I walk right through them Richard Ashcroft style.... :D

But what would stupid people do then when they cannot believe in imaginary things?

Take other facts and truths on complete faith that they're correct.

Something Atheists cannot seem to grasp is that for the vast majority of people, their whole belief system, religious or not is comprised on taking everything portrayed as a fact, on faith that it IS a fact.

Atheism is fundamentally a religion as most of its follows take everything they believe on faith, most of them have little to no understand of the things they try to lecture others about, the same as most religious people.

I love the fact OcUK GD jumps on the ban the burkha bandwagon rather than see the complete incompetence on the police.

I agree, I do think burkas are ridiculous, and they have quite a vane premise, in that the person seemingly believes that they are so devastatingly good looking that people will be constantly staring at them.

It's the definition of ironic really, as they are doing something to stop people looking at them, which becomes the very reason WHY people are looking at them so much.

However, I don't think they should be banned, I think it's wrong to legislate against things based solely on the dislike of it in terms of a blanket ban.

They should be simply made publicly unacceptable, and I think companies should be free to state that people wearing them cannot enter their business premises, the same way you can't with balaclavas, hoods, helmets and whatever else.

That will then make the people who truly choose themselves to wear them (for often misguided stupid reasons) reassess their choice, and decide whether the trade off of not being able to go shopping, to the bank or anything else is worth adhering to something that isn't actually religiously mandated.

Religious persecution arguments aside, is anyone else worried that all it takes to evade police terror surveillance is to walk into a building, then walk back out with a black cloth over your head?

Exactly this.

Maybe they should stop trawling peoples facebooks and emails and go on some field training.

You Get refused to enter some the nightclub over here if your wearing a jacket or jumper that has a hood...(And that with the hood down)

It's the same here and caps as well because they can all be used to hide from cameras.
