Looks good!
What is the yellow one on the left between the aerospoke and the brompton? Never seen a frame like that before.

It is a 'T.J Cycles Flying Gate'

Huh.

Mountain bike with the chain stuck on the big front ring, 1.95" knobby tyres: http://www.strava.com/activities/91900459

Shiny new road bike: http://www.strava.com/activities/93260457

Definitely felt a lot faster than the time I managed it in. Not sure what I was expecting but I was expecting the difference to be greater! But I did go out for a ride early which knackered me, so that's a possible factor.

you will get faster over time :) I cover 8-9 miles in 30 mins in heavy traffic in london.

Will tumble drying Lycra ruin it? It's obviously too cold to hang washing out to dry, so it's that or cover the radiators with all my shorts and jerseys...

You probably could do if your tumbler has a delicate setting.

Personally I wouldn't, but take your chances.... I'd hang them overnight.

The clear skies and warm days in Aus never get old! The wind and flies are a pain, nothing like a mouthful of road kill scented air at the top of a climb.

My dryer has a low setting and that is fine for jerseys etc. The only thing that doesn't go in is anything padded as I find it ruins them even at a low heat.

I know I'm a bit late commenting on the Pearl Izumi jacket, but I only got released from hospital yesterday.
Really nice bit of kit, thinner than I was expecting, but super impressed at how it expels water.
Look forward to trying it out in the rain, won't be for many many weeks yet though :(

Right guys, any recommendations on bits and bobs to light me up like the 4th July?

At the moment just got some standard front and rear lights, but would be interested on those flares that were being discussed last year or some wheel lights?

Agree with the Cree lights from ebay. I've got two on my bike and they light up enough for me to be seen, and for me to see.

Agreed, not been out in mine yet but feels excellent quality. Get well soon - hope everything went smoothly as it could. :)

I've been riding in mine for a few days now.. not bad and quite warm! a bit tight around my neck/back tho! haven't had a chance to test it in rain

Cheers. The op was successful, had to have a frontal craniotomy though, so a fairly major operation.
Can walk and move about fine, but won't be fit enough to ride for a long time.
