** Call of duty ghosts (MW4) **

lol
So dedicated servers ?? or Centrally hosted unadmined like blops2 ??
Or
The dreaded MW2/3 style P2P where you go 40:1 without breaking a sweat ? :P

Yep crossfire is a stuttery mess. I get half the fps in crossfire than i do with one card disabled on my 7990 lol. Even with crossfire disable i seem to get stutters and sound drop outs when the levels are loading. In game its okay though but yeah you need to disable crossfire at the moment.

I think its pretty annoying that a company as big as activision would screw over 37% of its PC gamer base this way. How did BF4 so easily support it, but they can't do it for this game..

Dry..

Lets hope there is an update soon.

It looks okay, but no way near the scale of BF4.

I haven't had pc version since CoD4 so I'm finding it nice to play with mouse and keyboard again. Much better than black ops 2 on xbox.

Installed on my laptop running i7 3630QM, 8GB RAM and GTX 660M
Settings are low - medium at 1080p and i've been getting between 50-90 fps
Very surprised. FPS usually around 60-70.
Do get stuttering occasionally like some others have mentioned - not caused by fps dropping. Hopefully that's fixed soon.

I hate there not being a server browser and any indication of ping.
Matchmaking is terrible and PC shouldn't have it.
Everything was so much better in CoD1/2/4 and there was a proper clan gaming community.

There's not even a way to bring up the console!

Why are they going backwards?!

been backwards since mw3.... so 3-4 years?

Can you tell if they are P2P or remotely hosted in a data center where the majority of players are geographically located??

I haven't opened mine yet and after reading this thread. , I'm not sure that I want to.

Worth a go or refund?

Have you got 6 GB of Ram?
Did you buy the the game knowing that it is part of the CoD francaise and thus fully know what to expect from the game, which most others tend to moan about every year.

If yes to above then go for it, if not don't bother.

Had an hour with it now and very disappointed.

Biggest issue is the mouse controls which seem borderline broken to me. I hate using mouse smoothing but without it the mouse controls are unusable, just juddering everywhere. Even with the smoothing enabled it occasionally splurges out and doesn't control right.

Already came across multiple bugs from glitchy floating weapons, comical death falls of NPC's from choppers (Their bodies fall like they are frozen in ice). Enemies glitching into concrete walls and being able to shot me, but I can't shoot them. Horrible rag doll death animations. Also had a quick go on multiplayer, same issue with the mouse controls for me so I hope this gets patched quickly.

Performance is all over the place in single player with FPS anywhere from 30 - 90 + with all settings pretty much maxed out (I'm running an i7 3770k @ 4.4Ghz, 16gb, Nvidia 680GTX). MP performance seems more even with it hitting 91 fps most of the time.

Overall the game just has a feeling of being very unpolished, certainly when compared to previous CoD games imho.

Out of interest what sort of mouse are you using?

I've got a deathadder and having no issues whatsoever

Was concidering Pre Ordering this, but decided to wait to see what people thought. Glad I didn't... think I will stick with BF4, shame as I loved COD before, just not forking out 40quid for same old recycled stuff on new maps (onlu play MP)

Sorry do you not see the irony of your statement.

You don't like playing the same old stuff on new maps, so you are going to go play battlefield instead?

I'm using a Naga, I'm starting to wonder if it is some kind of momentary huge loss of FPS in the game though (Even though FRAPS doesn't seem to be picking it up), I've noticed that if I turn off SSAO in the graphics settings it not only gives me better FPS, but the mouse controls better. It still doesn't feel right, just better.

What's this? A Call of Duty game isn't very good? Yet idiots continue to support the franchise? I have surprise!

This "holier than thou" attitude to people that buy and play COD games is getting tiresome to say the least.

If you don't like it, then don't buy it.

If you've bought because you like it and know what I expect, then what's the problem? If you've bought and are having genuine issues caused by bugs or lack of testing on the part of the developers then feel free to criticise.
