Figured there would be a fix. Tempted to upgrade anyway, been meaning to for a while just never got around it.

You didn't buy premium, the bf4 marketing guys made a mess and it just means you get china rising.

No, if you don't already know, you can use your existing license from 32bit to 64 bit, just make sure you download the correct version of 64 bit windows that matches your 32 bit, ie: 32 bit Windows 7 Home premium------> 64 bit Windows 7 Home premium.

Depends on what you actually bought some versions can do that some can't - definitely something people should check though before buying something new. (Pretty much anyone with Windows 7 Home premium should be able to do this for definite).

Playing about an hour now on a VPN. Local bot match. Strange framerate issues. Interesting to see if its just me. I can spin round in circles with 91 FPS but then move forward and the FPS drops and stutters. Prolly just me.

I personally wouldn't use the ram fix thing as its not 100% verified software , that .exe could be doing anything

Works for me but have put steam in offline mode to be on the safe side.

With every everything on max + 4xmsaa am getting 50fps but can only put textures on normal (rather than high) for some reason.

Intro level is quite good...

Edit - game is using less than 2GB and there are some laughably poor textures on show.

Looks like I'll have to stick to previous Call of Dutys and BF for the 3 guest PCs with only 4gb ram in :/

Honestly not read into but I would be worried about being banned as I only play multiplayer.

I think the fix is only for sp - wouldn't try going online with a modified exe anyway.
